I participated in a conference at Penn State University.I was out the door ar 8am and coming back after 9 pm. I didn't have much time to take advantages of facilities. I liked the location, it was walking distance from Alumni building.I liked the fact that I could open the window to get fresh air and hearthe birds in the morning.

The owner and the staff were extremely nice and friendly. When the owner found out that I have cancer and my husband has a back injury, he offered to upgrade us to a cottage so that we wouldn't have to climb the stairs. He also had a breakfast tray brought up to my husband. The room was very comfortable, and the lodge and its grounds are beautiful. We hope to go back during the summer so we can use the pool.

The facility has a wonderful gym and indoor swimming pool which will draw us back the next time we are in the area looking for a place to stay. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, coffee, etc.
The room was clean, spacious, attractive, and the bathroom was large.
We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. Good value and great tasting food. Staff was friendly and considerate.
All in all a great stay.

My wife and I liked everything. This was our second stay. We like the location because it is not on Rt 30 and all the traffic. But if you have a map or smart phone then you can navigate easily around the area and avoid the traffic as much as possible using the 'back roads'.

The staff were cordial and very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh, inclusive and plentiful. There was always fresh coffee, decaf, hot chocolate and tea available. The room was cleaned up well, on a daily basis. None of my things were ever touched.... I felt the staff respected our privacy. Well Done!

As we were on a mini family reunion, the tables in the lobby were easily used for get-togethers and games.
