We also enjoyed evening coffee and night caps in the Bistro and also in the Cottage - Historic, gorgeous Inn with tons of character, both inside and out. Decorated in unique Adirondack style. Awesome whirlpool and indoor pool on the ground floor. Spa is renowned. Breakfast buffet in The View restaurant was delicious. Room was plenty big for three women and tastefully decorated. Hotel is perfectly located right on the lake and a close walk to everything in town.

  So nice to see lemonade and cookies at check-in desk, even though we were too full to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bacon beautifully cooked at breakfast buffet; pancakes good. Loved the area for kids near the pool, and the spacious grounds. Lots of little nooks around the hotel for quiet conversations. Loved the fire "pit" outside ... what people say » main entrance. Indoor pool was beautiful, although so many kids there I changed my mind about going in. A disappointment. - The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.

  It was easy access to gaming. Rooms were very comfortable. Prompt service when asking for towels for three. Extremely quiet hotel. Considering going again for Easter if there is a special for two nights stay.

  This is a large, high end resort primarily for conventions and conferences. The place is meticulously groomed and "white glove" maintained. There are rooms in a main building and in many separate smaller buildings, all neat and attractive.We stayed in a suite that was actually a suite, I.E., two rooms with a door between, not just a large L-shaped... what people say » room. We looked at a regular room and it seemed just as clean and bright. The property is its own small island, with tennis courts and other sports f - We had a suite in the lodge. It was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The entire facility was immaculate and the staff was extremely accommodating. There were many places to relax and many activities to get involved in. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back.

  We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel. Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina.   The hotel is kept in reasonable condition. Room is spacious. The surrounding is ski & golf, so it is basically good place to spend a holiday. - I loved the amount of activities that were available to us. I also loved the look of the resort.

Very clean and comfortable baths.   Very nice place just outside (2 miles) the craziness of the village. We wanted 'quiet' but close enough to enjoy the downtown area. We drove into town but the trolley is available just outside the Colonel Williams. The owners/staff are very attentive and the grounds/rooms are well cared for. But we were out and about most days & didn't use it (except for 2 days dur - The owners allowed our son to take a shower after picking him up from camp after we had already checked out. It was Greatly Appreciated!
