  Very comfortable, elegant hotel in the heart of SoHo, brilliant for shopping and eating out. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we did not feel out of place with our 4 boys aged 11-20. It was expensive, but then everything in New York is expensive! How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.

  I thought the hotel was excellent. I have visited New York many times on business but this time I was travelling with my wife and teenage children who had not visited New York before. The hotel rooms were excellent and were clean, comfortable and looked just like the hotel photos. We were upgraded from a family room to a suite and it was excellent... what people say » . It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New York and would be happy to recommend. It is also conveniently located. - The staff is very courteous, friendly, helpful. The concierge is very well informed, and knowledgeable with all kinds of restaurants; from raw vegan to the top steakhouses in the city. The house car is a plus. The location is perfect; a walking distance to anything you could think of!

  This was my second stay at The Bowery and I still love it. You really feel like you are in NY not the tourist version of NY that you see on TV (if that makes sense). The location of the hotel is perfect for my needs. If shopping is your thing, then you are within walking distance of Soho. There are loads of great bars and restaurants within wal... what people say » king distance but if you don't feel like venturing out then you should find something in the lobby menu or Gemma to satisfy your gastronomical desires - Iove how close hotel is to my daughters apt and many great restaurants. I loved the view out my window of buildings and empire state bldg. I just love the Bowery. This is our place from now on!!! Will bring my husband in Oct. love your employees. Very genuine. Fun to see a celebrity now and then but most of all how they can be just people like the rest of us while relaxing and not having attention brought to them. Good job!!! GREAT HOTEL!!!

  This is a wonderful hotel, with impeccable design that translates effortlessly from the big picture to the smallest detail. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, and offer a luxurious retreat from the city. They feel like a Paris apartment from an earlier age, with contemporary facilities and comfort. The restaurant - I really can't say enough good things about the Nomad. We absolutely loved our stay there - the staff is wonderful, everyone wants to help you any way that they can. The rooms are beautiful, and the bath products will make it so you never want to use anything else to wash your body. We could only book at the Nomad for a few days and had to stay the rest of our time at the Soho Grand. We REALLY wanted to go back to the Nomad. If we can afford it, we'll definitely be back!   Our favorite aspect of the room was the bathroom with both a deep soaking tub and a lovely shower with hand held spray. This latter feature is often omitted in even many nicer hotels. Of course the marble and the overall design created a cheerful and homey environment. The bed was excellent and the mattress was friendly to our hypersensitive backs... what people say » . The sound system was nice. Our room faced the back and so was extemely quiet for nyc. Of course, the staff was as pleasant as could be. - The staff were ALL extremely helpful and friendly. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very large and extremely nice. The shower was amazing and had great water pressure. The bed was deliciously comfortable. Even though our room overlooked Madison Avenue, it was very quiet. In short, it was wonderful!!

  Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Fantastic location. Very nice room. Very well kept and looked after while we were there. Never felt intruded upon by house keeping. They came in while we were out. We always had fresh bath linens and the room was always spotless.
