    Excellent guesthouse with fantastic rooms very close to the main street with plenty of shops and bars. The owners were very welcoming as were all of the staff and the breakfast was excellent. Dressing gowns were provided to walk the short distance to and from the room. The constant smell of - If you are looking for a very special Inn with charming super clean rooms and a great vibe, this is the place! The owners and staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly while also being respectful of your space. Fantastic food, beautiful garden, so close to all that Chatham has to offer. We are returning!

    It is such a cozy haven with little nooks to hang out and read a book or sit at a fire pit. It is historically fascinating what they have accomplished in transforming the row houses. I hope it inspires others not to abandon existing historical buildings. Loved the hot cookies in the lobby in the evening. The rooms are designed keeping the tone retro, humble and very comfortable, warm & welcoming. I loved the bed & pillows, the window used as a wall, and thought the bathroom was pretty, homey and creatively designed.

    This was our second visit to the Shaker Mill Inn. Since our first visit, it is under new ownership and better than ever! Our room opened to a deck with a beautiful lawn and woods beyond. The complimentary wine was such a nice touch.     Very nicely maintained bed and breakfast with clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and a convenient hot tub. The owners were very friendly and easy going. After checking in, we walked just a block to get to Commercial St, which is the main drag in Provincetown. The next morning we walked downstairs to fin - I and my husband needed a little getaway and time off from our two kids. After browsing for the best deal we embarked upon Beaconlight Guesthouse. I think it was within average price for most bed and breakfast locations around the area. The location was clean, rooms were clean and i would not complain about the breakfast, although would have preferred hot breakfast but they provide you with yogurt, granola, pastries, coffee, tea, muffins.     What was supposed to be a romantic weekend with the love of my life was rudely interrupted by Snowstorm "Nemo", so I ended up at this wonderful Inn all alone for 3 nights. PS - the Sevens Pub right across the street is a great place to hangout in a snowstorm. - Friendly staff, lovely big room, breakfast in the room, treats, elevator, huge bed. It seemed a pretty good bargain. Plenty of drawers and hangers. Oh, and the location is absolutely perfect - close to the T, close to the Common, readily accessible (we did not drive).
