This is one great hotel especially if you are there related to the university. They run a free shuttle to any building on campus which was great as my daughter was there with me for a tour. You can walk to campus which we did the afternoon we arrived too. Everything is number one here! -

We loved everything. We have stayed at several large and boutique hotels on the Gold Coast and the Peninsula is probably the best across the board. I have a difficult last name, but all of the staff immediately remembered it and also pronounced it correctly. -

Hotel is really clean and comfy.
Location of the hotel is amazing especially the view from the top levels is marvellous.
The room was spacious and covered us all 5 adults and a kid.
In house coffee bar was great they had nesperesso machines and the capsules were provided everyday.
Hotel staff were helpful in finding us taxis
while we wait in the lobby and it was really quick.
Once we arrived they gave our kid a gift

It was everything you except out of a Embassey Hotel. Staff was awesome.
We left our Ipad in the room and they called us rightaway to return to
get our Ipad. Impressed!
Breakfast omelet was awesome. The waffle was not up to par but everything else was great.

"Wine five-o-clock" at the lobby :) Great food at Sable restaurant and impressive cocktails at the bar. This is a great location for getting around Chicago downtown. Hotel has efficient and friendly staff; fantastic upper floors restored interior and history of the building is exceptionally interesting. Rooms are clean and comfortable with decent views if you are facing due east.
Great bar and bistro on the ground floor.
I will definitely visit again.
