  Jim Music was very accommodating in getting us a room earlier than check-in. We were very fortunate that we stayed longer the next day since the room wasn't booked.   the staff were very friendly and ALWAYS said aloha every time they passed. The pool and gym were wonderful and we used them every day. I liked having the Kings and Queens market close by as we had a choice of eating establishments. the beach was protected and great for water sports. Down the beach was the Lava Lava Bar - we ate their quite a few... what people say » times and had drinks at sunset. Thanks to John and NIck there for a wonderful part of our stay. - The beach was very nice. Our room would have been perfect if we'd had a full ocean view instead of a partial because of a tree. The gym is nice and clean. The concierge was helpful but be warned, it is run by Expedia so no Kama'aina rates. The nearby markets were convenient and a good option if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Several good restaurants as well as a food court are available.

  The hotel has a great location. It is located on a beach, about 10 minutes from the airport, and about equal distance to the end of the highway in the north and to the west. Passing in front of the hotel is a pedestrian walkway on which one can walk to a small commercial center for dining and shopping. There is also a concrete sidewalk along the beach for those who enjoy walking as well as a long beach front for those - The room was available 2 hours early and 2 hour late check out no charge. Comps of show tickets and food were unexpected and great. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations.
