There were three bedrooms with very large beds. One of the bedrooms was a suite, very comfortable. The kitchen and living area were spacious and comfortable, the decoration was nice, everything was very clean, there were flowers and fruit waiting for us when we got there. Absolutely no hassle. And the surroundings were very quiet. We slept really well there.

The view was beautiful from the balcony/deck. Location was very good, and right on the beach. The condo was very comfortable and well stocked. Condo, grounds, and pool area were very clean. All the staff super nice. All the birds singing from the trees every morning was beautiful to hear. All the locals, no matter where we went were so friendly!

Everything! The rooms, grounds, facilities and staff were all absolutely delightful. The hotel is smaller and more secluded than many of the resorts in Wailea but offers a free shuttle to town and great beach activities. Toby and Kirby are superb hosts! Since they've lived in the area for decades, they have an intimate knowledge of the north short of Kauai, and of its residents -- chatting with them was a bit like being an insider!
Toby's breakfasts are superb, and the home is beautiful, and supremely comfortable. The kitchen and living room were always open to guests and we took full advantage of it.
You could have as much privacy or be more social with guests and the hosts, as you preferred.

This is the real Hawaii! Our children visited on the lanai and cracked fresh macadamia nuts. In the morning we drank rich Kona coffee, from the local landscape and delighted in sharing adventures and insiders knowledge over a perfect breakfast. Easy location to beaches, restaraunts, and sunny Kona weather. Kurt's family home surpasses any destination hotel or resort. We longed for it after moving on to other parts of the island. 5 stars.,
