The Dupont Circle provided a special experience from the moment we arrived. The design was contemporary with a touch of luxury but the atmosphere was relaxing and not pompous. The location was perfect for my husband and I and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the national monuments (about 30 mins). The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated, and the rooms and public spaces were clean and stylishly modern in look. The location was TERRIFIC. Easy access to Metro. Tons of restos and stores within walking distance.
The employees we dealt with were courteous and very responsive. All in all, it was a great place to stay for a long weekend in DC.

the lobby is beautiful and there are interesting facts about the history of the hotel posted in many places. the location is ideal. one of the maids thanked us in writing for our tip and asked that God bless our family. we were very touched by this gesture. room service was very fast and the bell hops are very helpful. -

The hotel is fully renovated. Nice, clean, modern. Having a kitchen helped feed breakfast in the morning for kids. Close to Mt. Vernon square metro station-yellow line. Friendly front desk. Elisa is great. Left our bags at the hotel upon check out since we had a later flight. CVS is round the block for groceries. We were flying from DCA - so a quick 5 min walk to metro and we were at the airport < 30mins!!

The only downside to staying here is the on-street parking, which is difficult in this neighborhood, given the embassies and restricted resident-only parking areas.
