This hotel was very convenient because it is next door to the Metro (Farragut West). It is also close enough to the National Mall to walk to the Museums. The staff was very helpful and stored my luggage for the last day so I could attend the Inauguration ceremonies. I had read some negative reviews before our trip , but decided to take a
chance. Very glad we did. The staff was very helpful , the room was
clean and neat and with vintage charm. The staff at the
restaurant/bar were so nice , gave us ice in our cooler every time
we needed with no problem at all. Loved the 4 days we spent there. Would

The hotel is fully renovated. Nice, clean, modern. Having a kitchen helped feed breakfast in the morning for kids. Close to Mt. Vernon square metro station-yellow line. Friendly front desk. Elisa is great. Left our bags at the hotel upon check out since we had a later flight. CVS is round the block for groceries. We were flying from DCA - so a quick 5 min walk to metro and we were at the airport < 30mins!!

is an up & coming area! If you use 200 Florida ave ne you will get
to the hotel no problem. As far as "sketchy" people in the
area I will say this, there is a mix of people in the area & there

I happened to visit during the unfortunate government shutdown, so there was a lot that I wanted to see but couldn't. The staff was very friendly and quick to offer suggestions on what to do and see, and what was open. The housekeeping staff were amazing, cleaning my room promptly each day.
