  My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice place to stay our first time in steamboat. Not only is it in a nice location, right at the end of downtown, but it has a nice appearance on the outside. The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful and gave us great suggestions on the tourist spots to hit. There was also a very nice breakfast sprea... what people say » d each morning! The rooms did seem a little stuffy when first walking in but turning on the AC or opening windows did the trick! The room itself was v - This place is incredible. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The facility is nothing luxurious, but it was clean and comfortable. Nice flat screen TV. The hot tub in an enclosed room with large glass windows and a changing area. The location is incredibly convenient, close to restaurants and with a bus stop for the free shuttle right across the street. The free breakfast also had a great selection.

  This motel is the cleanest place I've ever stayed at! Incredible! Beds are so comfy and the staff is top notch, very friendly folks. Breakfast was good and the rooms are quiet and clean. One night we had a regular queen room and on our return visit we had the 2 queen suite. Full kitchen and it's separated from the bedroom a bit and it's large enou... what people say » gh for a family. Everything about our 2 stays was wonderful! Will stay here again next time in in this area. - Meticulously maintained motel with exceptionally clean rooms (or so my wife says!) Spacious room and bathroom with comfortable bed, microwave & fridge. Supermarket very close by. Very good value for money with an above average breakfast as the icing on the cake!

  I found fantastic people in the staff of Palomine, I was very comfortable there, I felt almost at home when I came back from round trip to San Juans.   This motel is in a good location at the east end of the main street through town - close to shopping, dining and Mesa Verde National Park.   Because I was arriving fairly late, the receptionist called on my cell to see where I was en route and when I might arrive. When it appeared that I wouldn't arrive before they closed the desk for the night, she offered to leave my room unlocked, with the key inside and allow me to register in the morning. The air conditioner/heat was a little noisy and took awhile to warm the room, but did - Fantastic location, very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and pleasant.   It was recently remodeled so that made it very nice. The hot tub was great. Breakfast was your typical continental style so it was fine. Seemed to possibly be owner operated as I saw the same 2 people doing all the work. My impression was that they take very good care of thei business. But maybe they are just awesome employees. Nevertheless ... what people say » I was happy with everything and would stay again. - A very nice place to stay. The person al front desk very friendly and kind. Very big and nice room. I recommend it to everyone. Ideal to visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

We are active so we don't spend much time in a hotel/motel room, therefore, we don't want to spend money for a space we don't occupy long-term, yet we want a site that is clean and well-maintained. Liked having the coffee maker,microwave and refrigerator in the room - all were larger that the average motel models... what people say » , which was a plus. Also liked having the BBQ grill/gazebo available as another cooking option. Having the breakfast option was nice. The yogurt and j - My husband and I were on a road trip (our first time in Colorado)....this was our best stay on our whole trip ! :-) This is a small family run business. They were nice, polite and friendly. Breakfast was good with a good variety. The rooms very clean and neat and had everything we were looking for (refrig / microwave). They were very helpful in referring us a good Mexican restaurant (within walking distance). We dealt with their daughter and the mother, both were wonderful ! We would stay
