The staff was very polite and the manager helped me chose a specific
room prior to my stay. The Hotel is fairly modern and cozy. Not too
upscale that you'd feel like your sleeping in an overly furnished
office space.
The TV's are great. It has DirectTV so you wont miss your favorite shows, but if you have a game console or media hub you can plug it in to the available HDMI port. Most hotels block this or have a dedicated hotel TV service with complicated menus and standard quality TV, so this w

The staff at this hotel are exceptional; very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room we had was on the 8th floor with a kitchenette; amazing 180 degree views of Manhattan. Good continental breakfast. Free wifi good except on upper floors, so we used the lobby; the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Location brilliant; only two stops to Manhattan, shops, restaurants all walking distance. Fantastic value for money, but book ahead.

Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk). The desk manager was very pleasant and helpful, as my luggage did not arrive on the flight, and he arranged for the shuttle to take me to the airport several times in order for me to retreive my luggage!!! which are connected to the various nearby hotels. After calling, we

Shuttle - arrived within ten minutes of my call from the courtesy phone at JFK Fed. Circle - great as I was travelling alone and worried about waiting around at 11pm.
Shuttle dropped off at requested terminal in the morning.
Receiption staff very polite and efficient.
Room was quiet and clean, and continental breakfast provided from 4am which was great.
All in all a great place to stay close to the airport -- would highly recommend.
