Backpackers is the perfect place to stay if you are travelling alone or with friends on a budget. It´s a very laid back place with many cool people from all over the world. Nature is all around. You can´t beat this location to surf the world famous beaches. I´d love to come back every year!!!.
all reviews » Great location, right in between two beautiful beaches. Everyone was really friendly and took advantage of bike rentals and free snokel gear. We look forward to our next visit, we felt like we had our own little treehouse. Very friendly staff, Mama and Craig are absolute champs. Cheap hire of beach equipment and bikes. Very accessible location, close to supermarket and beautiful beaches. If you are looking for the Hilton, this hotel isn't the place. However, basic accommodations, helpful staff and very friendly guests this place is top notch. The inn fit our needs for being close to things we wanted to do and an ocean view from our window. Wonderful location, excellent value, very laid back. Authentic Atmosphere and variety of clientele. Staff very relaxed, friendly and low-key. Open layout- easy to get to know other people who are staying there. Good Location. The office staff were friendly and very helpful. + north shore + nice wooden building + budget accomodation. Very cheap place for the North Shore. The location is great, just in front of the nice Three Tables beach. The location. Nathan did his best to be helpful. Location is good, next to beach and ocean view. The only thing we liked was the location. There was nothing to like about this place. It was dirty, the only good thing was that it was on the North Shore of Hawaii. I only liked the location. Being on the beach. The heat in the bedroom (beds were very comfortable) The lack of curtains so we woke early with the sun. Roosters were the alarm clock every day at 6am (Great time to wake up to go surfing!!!). Not much to dislike. Floor in the bathroom needed a good scrubbing and the shower, as well. Also, locating the place was difficult because of small signage. Need to more prominently explain the late night arrival procedures. The old age of all and non-functionality of several kitchen appliances - although it was pretty entertaining and bonding to make coffee using a sieve on top of a mug :). The accommodation and facilities were adequate but a little run down. I dont think that it is a good idea to have the live in cleaning staff and guests in such close proximity. Can and did cause issues. - room wifi is charged. Shared bathrooms, very thin walls. The room was small and not clean. Sad state of disrepair, maintenance, and hygiene, when it would take so little... The parking lot needs gravel; we damaged the undercarriage of our rental car. Everything is old and sofa is broken in the room. The beds were terrible. The bathroom was dirty and in bad repair. We had rats! After complaining about the rats they put sticky traps in our room and we were awoken 3 times during the night by rats screaming because they were stuck in the traps! Our room was not cleaned and we did not get any clean towels. The name is very deceiving. After 10:00 check out, I need to wait for my friends to pick me up. The officer even don' let me stay on the lougue to wait. He told me I need to leave after check out. This is some bad experienc. I didn't like one thing about this place. I hated the way it was kept. Very dirty and this place needs to be renovated. Not worth the money I paid for it. The dirty filthy cockroach infested conditions the lack of service ten days without clean sheets towels or even toilet paper,no trash bags, no cleaning supplies no stove even though it said we had one in our booking not even a microwave, no a/c all around terrible conditions and a waste of my money,THANKS booking .com.
