I feel that I got more than my moneys worth out of this stay. The room was fresh and clean. The hotel is having renovations done but they were in no way a problem. The location is perfect if you dont want to be in the middle of the city, but dont worry if you do they have a shuttle service that will drop you off for a night out on the town and pick you up when you are ready. By far one the best hotel experiences I have had.
all reviews » We came in for the Pittsburgh Steelers Football game. The hotel supplied shuttle service to and from the game. The hotel is being remodeled, which no way affected our stay. Will definitely stay there again. Rooms were very clean,beds were soft,bathroom was very clean and a nice size for a bigger person,great location for a steelers game or pirates game easy to get to the stadium and the shuttle service was nice. The new decor is very pleasing to the eye.I Hope the white floor tile is easy to mantain. I thought it looks super.Since it was not finished the total entrance could not be appreciated. Under renovation so the rooms were brand new. Obviously very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was good. Great location and free shuttle. Staff are excellent. Joe(?) gave us perfect directions over my (imperfect) cell phone, and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Happy hour great. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast was very good. Pool and gym were closed for renovations. Found a large bug in my room hanging off the curtains and that there were no windows that could open in the room. Location. construction, floor layout (room was tucked into corner). room not very clean. hotel under construction. Not enough towels, furniture was old and chairs were dirty, no heavier comforter available. It was dirty under constructionand was misrepresented by the advertising. I was shocked that I paid so much for so few facilities. There was no gym and no bar and not enough seating at breakfast. Will never stay at a best western again. Construction happening eliminated happy hour and any hope of staying entertained in the hotel. No extra blankets in room. No shampoo in room. Told staff at checkout and they said we should have called down but these are pretty basic things. Hotel was undergoing renovation, and it obviously needed it from the overall shabby appearance of everything. Hotel was under construction and our room was one if the older rooms. I heard the new rooms were beautiful. The room smelled musty, the inside of the hotel needed a facelift. My room felt like I was on punishment in the corner. Needs to be updated. Still Under Construction and was too expensive for what they had to offer. Hotel under construction.
