Great hotel neat Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. Large rooms, no noise from adjacent occupied rooms, friendly and helpful staff, excellent price for location and quality of room. Pool was great although a bit small for the number of people using it on a Phoenix summer day. Because the hotel shuttle failed to pick us up at the airport, (we had already waited an hour), we were reimbursed $16 for the taxi we took and we were upgraded by Diane to a room with a jacuzzi. This made up for our frustration.
all reviews » Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. We wanted somewhere nice to stay for our first night in Arizona - having made the long journey to Phoenix from Aberdeen, Scotland. The Hampton Inn Phoenix Airport North did not disappoint. This is the return trip, for flying into and out of Phoenix . Staff were as previously, very friendly and helpful. As we were flying out very early following morning, breakfast pack was available for us to eat at the airport. Had a map and good directions available to return our rental car at the airport. Breakfast was good and the room rate was excellent for the one night we stayed. Staff were very welcoming, after we had had a long flight. Throughout the staff were delightful. Room was good with all facilities working. Clean and comfortable. Good and clean with decent breakfast provided. Staff were very helpful and I will recommend to anyone looking for an airport stop at Phoenix. Quiet, spacious room. Everything we needed was available for a great price. Location was easy to find and close to the airport. Nice big room, hotel had guest laundry which was helpful after traveling for a week. Near the airport. Free shuttles to and from the airport and area restaurants. Included a hot and cold breakfast. Very comfortable room and nice staff. Staff is very friendly. Almost everything. Western theme. Only one (of two) computer in the business center was working. Also there was not sufficient information about nearby restaurants in the information binder. There was no safe in the room and the bed was a bit hard and lumpy and we woke up with sore backs for the first time on our 10 day trip to Arizona. Our room was directly overlooking pool. Which is open until 10-00 pm. The loudspeaker was placed directly over our room window, so the burbling went on and on.requested that it was turned off, it was for about an hour and then came on again. Not good when having an early night for an early flight, especially when the pool was not being used! Needs a rethink. Either turn music off or make sure customers with early flights are not booked into these rooms. Nothing. Nothing - everything was as expected. Air con was very noisy!. There was noise in the room above ours into the early hours on both nights, although that wasn't the fault of the hotel. The duvets - too warm. The breakfast was good and plentiful, if you come early. On the first day, we came down before 9 am and the sausage, cream cheese, Yogurt were completely gone adn unreplaced. The bagels and scramble eggs lasts 15 more minutes, even though the breakfast is supposed to end at 10 pm. Rental car long way from baggage. hot portion of free breakfast very poor eggs sausage etc.
