Room was fine. Staff very attentive to later arrival and very easy check-in. Everything in room worked and was in good condition. Check-out went very smoothly. Very close to SUNY Oswego. The night we arrived the man at the front desk was very helpful. The room was clean! Really have no complaints. Clean, nice, cozy, friendly, lovely. clean. Not much! pleasant outdoors very nice shower head refrigerator in room.
all reviews » Location was great. Near Lake Ontario. Seeing my grandkids and my son. I ask how to turn the heat on. I was told to open to turn on the oven and open the oven door. There was black mold in the shower. All around I felt dirty sleeping there. As soon as I could I left am when to another hotel about 2 miles away. The staff were pleasant and the closeness to the college was convenient. The continental breakfast was also convenient. It was very close to the campus of SUNY Oswego, which to the purpose of the trip was really convenient. The proximity to Oswego State University. It is very close to my sons college. Close proximity to college campus. Location was close to my seminar. nothing. The only positive was the location to suny Oswego. Nothing N. Location. RIght on route 104, but with a/c did not hear too much traffic. We can hear the noises from the other room and outside the door. The fasility should be more soundproof. Bathroom plug in is hidden in side of light - that's 50s style. One socket not even three hole plug! For the value, the price was atrocious! You have a monopolistic market so why change. Run down old musty room. Unfriendly staff. The bathroom in room 114 was very run down. Neither my daughter nor I showered as the tiles were up from the floor and the bathtub was all chipped. The towels were very damp. Overall the bathroom was not welcoming. Because of this, we will not stay at the Knights Inn again, nor will we recommend it to anyone else. The manager, Roger Modi, almost managed to turn the stay there into a completely disagreeable experience. I have travelled a lot over the years, and had never met such a rude and hostile employee. I definitely advise avoiding this place. The room rate was too high for the quality of the room. Room did not have a smoke alarm. There weren't enough outlets. The bathroom door did not have a hook. We've stayed at numerous campgrounds with nicer bathroom facilities. It is very outdated. The temperature is hard to control in the shower. They only have double beds. No queen or king rooms. The towels are old and very thin. No fan in the bathroom to vent out the hot, moist air. Bathroom door doesn't close all the way. Towels and wash cloths are so old and dingy. They were paper thin. Bedding not changed even when asked. Bedding dingy and gray. room smelled old and musty. I was double billed for my nights stay, rooms are dated, staff was rude. the place was a dump. The place was so old and decrepit. Bathroom had no fan, so taking a shower made the entire room moist. All faucets were broken and caked with crud and leaked. Toilet rocked back and forth when you sat on it;-( Window were so old they did not close and the screen did not fit so bugs came in. Oh and the continental breakfast was non-existent. Coffee maker and toaster broken, the fruit had bugs coming out of it... Totally disgusting. Filthy.. Obnoxios clerks. Needs to be updated, the bedding is horrible, I was itchy and could not wait to get home to shower. The room was very old and needs updating. Not worth $130.
