The lady that checked us in was warm, friendly and informative, and as you know First Impression is everlasting. I didn't have to leave the hotel for anything except shopping.I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with kids. They didn't even want to go to Disney after they saw the pool, theater and game room which was the best news for me because I then had extra money to shop. We loved the spacious room with balcony. The pool size and lounging area around the pool were very comfortable. Pool hours were a huge plus, 7am- 11pm. The attached game room, convenience store and applebees were nice bonuses as well. Free parking, free shuttle and free wifi = fantastic!.
all reviews » Clean rooms and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The pool area is very large. The location is good, easy to get to downtown disney and the parks. This is not luxurious in any way but I felt it was a good value. nice clean rooms and very friendly staff also apple b staff were very helpful since are pure vegetarians and even helped take away excellent veg sandwhiches. platinum bus sytem shuttle was very timely and friendly. Space on the room. The service was great. I book a no smoking room. We got to the room and the smell was horrible and the administration change us to another room very fast . Clean big rooms. Comfortable beds. We stay there every month for at least three days. Great location. Pet friendly. Really enjoy the hotel. Pool area was very nice, rooms were oversized as well as the bathroom. Everything was very clean. God value for money, clean, shuttle to universal included, fast internet connection. Closet door handles were broken in my room # 671. I was so busy that i never reported it. The beds were a bit uncomfortable for me, but my husband and son thought they were fine. After returning home I noticed a couple of extra charges on my account from the hotel. Still waiting to speak with someone in the accounting department, but i'm confident it will be resolved. Other than that we have no complaints. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to return again with my family in the future. The service at the restaurant at the breakfast meal was slow and the food just average. Didn't like that the keys of the room. We had to go twice to actived them twice. Nothing. There were stains on the linen, but staff changed it quickly upon request. The toilet flush was not working on arrival, this was fixed within 90 minutes as the plumber had to get a spare part. Never explain that the voucher for the breakfast was only 20.00.for two person. When you make the reservation said:" Breakfast including". we enjoyed are stay. Game room was little expensive. Nothing bad abt it. A little hard to spot the driveway entrance . I was under the impression this hotel had a continental breakfast, but in all actuality it has a restaurant attached that offers a $12 buffet breakfast. Can'tthink of anything. Applebee was not the best place serving breakfurst. Found on line in search for hotels in Downtown Disney. Was very disappointed to discover that it was a mile from Downtown Disney, and on the other side of I-4. I was given a room with someone already in it then had to manuever to another room, the place was noisy, the wi-fi didnt work & wouldnt connect, charged almost $100 more than what was expected. The beds were dirty!. No bed room slippers. Car service is way too expensive. $25 for a trip that cost $12 by taxi is ridiculous. No one helped me with my luggages up to my room and down during check out. Fridge was empty. I had to buy my own drinks which is troublesome. Shuttle to Disney ends very early. It should be all day till evening at least. it was terrible unclean. when I opened the bed there where hairs on it , both consecutive nights. looks like it was the same sheet from previous guest. bread on my kids bed cover (from other guests!). the bunk beds wherent turn down. you have to make it. terrible humidity smell in room. avoid it if you can. for 500 uss 3 nighsts I expected at least ....cleanning !. I was quoted a room rate that didn't include hidden fees. I was charged an extra $50 for thses fees. I would like my $50 back.
