A clean, comfortable room. I had no problems finding my room or things like the ice and vending machine. Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, my schedule did not allow me to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. I would recommend this place to my friends. I enjoyed everything about the Howard Johnson.I want to stay in my same room everytime I hit the city. The front desk service was wonderful working under pressure ,she kept her cool.That was a plus for me. I will stay there again. Thanks Howard Johnson.
all reviews » The rooms were updated and clean. The hotel is right beside the water park, and close to the outlet mall. It's 5-10 minutes from Bricktown, which is good considering the price. We stayed two nights and will choose this hotel again. All staff I encountered was extremely nice, helpful, and prompt with any needs or concerns. The room was always spotless every day and the beds were the warmest I've ever slept in. All in all, very pleasant experience!. Beds are comfortable, room is clean, breakfast is good. People who work the front desk are always friendly. (We've stayed quite a few times) Love that there is a fridge and microwave. Like the new carpet. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was good and hot. Stayed 3 nights and would go again very affordable compared to other hotels in the area. My sonoved the pool. The staff was very nice, promptly attending common requests. The room was always clean and having a fridge and microwave was very handy. They also offer a fitness room with a good treadmill. The home/office room was excellent. It was roomy and had everything in it like microwave, frig, easy chair etc. the breakfast was excellent also. Great motel for the money!. We enjoyed the breakfast and the swimming pool. Also glad it had a washer and dryer. Love the fact that I can buy waterpark tickets at a reduced rate. The wheather was great for September,i enjoyed the food and Shopping,and i really enjoyed relaxing by the Pool.the staff were really helpful. Location to the State Fair Arena for the state basketball tournaments, reasonable price, several dining places that were close, quietness. This was the best budget hotel we stayed in on our trip. Bacon alternate w sausage. Eggs tasted powdered but were decent. Longer hours on breakfast service 9 am to end it is too early!!. Pillows were bad. Tissue box in wall was falling down into to wall. The outside of the hotel looked dated. Can't really say anything for this. Pillows were a bit 'too puffy' for our taste. You don't find that very often!. The free breakfast was pretty awful. I passed up free food and that just doesn't happen. breakfast hours should last up to 10:30am. 1. Parking lot 2. Will not accept mail unless registered guest. The facility was quite dated, needed painting, etc., although they were installing new carpet and bathrooms had some updating. I did not see anywhere during the booking process that I had selected a smoking room, which I would not have preferred. They didn't have a non smoking room available to switch. The smell was a bit strong. Probably the booking site's fault. nothing important. nothing!!!!!!!!!!. The king bed was short. Not good for something 6 foot tall. Could use a little updating but everything was completely functional. No elevator. Was pretty inconvenient. More channel availability on the cable. Rooms fairly old-fashioned, ancient TVs. The bathroom counter top was very small for a family of 4. The roof was a bit ugly looking. Like someone started to work on it and stopped. same old greasy sausage and food for the free breakfast every day. No fruit. Would like to have had an elevator. Bigger bathroom vanity. Better flushing toillet. The area, it seemed there were lot of young people hanging in the parking lot and there was too much noise made by them in early hours. Sometimes, it felt they were drug dealers etc. Did not feel too safe. Road noise for the nearby Interstate 40 highway was a bit annoying but not enough to make me consider not staying again.
