The room was roomy; we made use of the dining table, AND the couch (and of course, the bed, which was pretty comfortable). Our room was on the upper level, so the vaulted ceilings made it seem even bigger. The motel is a block away from the grocery store, and the beach (which you can drive on!), and there is a good breakfast place next door (Our Place). Lucy and Peter really made me feel welcome and at home. I brought my dog, Jack and he had a great time too! It was very clean and comfortable.I left some stuff behind and they sent it to me at their own expense. I will go back again. I have told all my friends to try it also.
all reviews » Very clean, spacious room with about 300 satellite TV channels! Family-run establishment. The couple are nice and friendly people. I enjoyed our stay so much that I booked a third night. Rates are the lowest in Ocean Shores for peak season. We were there for the best clam digging tides of the year so the motel was full, yet it was quiet and comfortable. The location is very close to the beach so the travel time didn't take away from our beach time. Clean, comfortable , pet friendly and budget friendly - a great find for the price! The perfect place to stay if you are not needing luxury spas or luxury amenities We would definitely stay there again!. The price was great and the staff was very nice. The motel allows dogs with a deposit. Great place for people on a budget and needing the basics. I enjoy my stay at The Oasis every time I have stayed there. I have been there many times. Location. The location of the motel was close to beach, good restaurant and activities. location. The room was quite dim, even though it was really bright outside. Having something to tie back the curtains would really help, and maybe some brighter lights when it is dark out. The towels were a bit scratchy but not terrible. The lighting is weak in the room. I had to leave!. Too small of a parking lot. Add coffee pot to room. Also add lite breakfast- like muffins or danish in lobby,Could add ten dollars to room rate for muffins.Beds a little hard. Next time I will bring a reading light of my own. only thing i can say here is that the coffee pot was small. room was very dark get new pillows - these were bricks. The Parking lot is a little strange to get out of, the beds are hard and uncomfortable. Noise from other patrons. Motel can't control that. they should have hot water jug so we can make coffee...microwave was there but no plates etc... Just a basic motel. Nothing to dislike. We arrived early and couldn't raise the desk clerk to check in. Finally got her. All fine. sofa, it's due for another one. Not fancy but clean. no clock. hard to use the bar soap because they were very small. Beds are hard as rocks. No a.c. so it got very hot. We have a full size truck and was hard to park. An ice machine would be nice. No coffee pot. No mirror in main room. small parking area. I loved everything about this place!. It was a bit spendy for the room. It would have been nice if they offered coffee and even a pastry for breakfast or coffee makers in the room. The beds were a bit harder than used too. Lack of air conditioning. It needed some upgrades. I think that was being worked on at the time of our visit. Old, dated, funky. I'm not a pet hater but the people next door had a dog that barked for a few hours when the owners left the room, was very annoying. Also, the room was on the ground floor and the bathroom window did not lock shut needed to put coat hanger between window to feel more protection. Also, the bed was not very comfortable, felt springy, other than all that, it served its purpose. very run down and uncomforable.
