The building is probably from the 1950's or 1960's, but recently renovated and very clean and comfortable. Rooms are small, but very convenient to the falls. The owner/manager is very courteous and makes every effort to please. Personally, I like having the car just outside the room entrance. It's convenient to transfer luggage to and from the car. It is an older motel and is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The facilities were quite sufficient for anyone traveling on business and that is looking to be budget conscious. I was completely satisfied with my stay!.
all reviews » The only thing that want great was the construction going on out front. It was a little tricky to get in and out of the parking lot but other than that great stay. the location is good. the couple who own/run the hotel are very dedicated to their guests. this is a no frills location ergo the low rates. Family owned, gotta respect that. Very good location only 5 miles from the falls, for the money I say it's worth it. Clean rooms, great staff, comfortable beds, good location only 5 minutes drive to Niagara Falls. Staff very very friendly. The room was clean and quiet. Small room, but clean and had a pleasant stay. The people running the motel were very kind and generous, and willing to work to please the customer, something very rare these days. The host which checked us in was a little sleepy but very nice and accommodating considering. When we asked if the coffee will be ready early in the morning, he just said that he's not sure he will be awake in that time and just brought the coffee maker to our room so we can make it for ourselves whenever we want. Location not bad, about a 5 minutes drive from the falls. This place is only good if you want to go to the falls on a budget and only need somewhere to lay down your head. Friendliness of host. Location. I made reservations at the last minute, thus paid a premium rate. Booking ahead of time will allow a better rate. Nothing! It was a pleasant stay. When you ask the staff not to disturb, you expect that! When we got back we found that somebody was in the room, when I told the owner, he said that his wife went in to clean ( which part of do not disturb you don't get?), also the mattress is very bad ( cheap stuff ). road construction right in front of the hotel, no complimentary breakfast. Great value for the money. Nothing to really complain about considering how much the room cost. Small room and the heat wasntworking right. Housekeeping... They have a odd way of linen change etc... My own poor choice of timing for the trip took. There was construction out front fo the motel, but that was because It was off season for travelers. Water got shut off once, but again it was the fault of the construction outside and not the motel. Only thing I would change would be the fridge in the room I had, and add an ice machine, but other than that nice place. Very Dirty, Very small. At first there was no hot water and only after we asked the night clerk he fixed it and the water were hot. Furthermore, there was water leaking from the handle in the shower. We got what I would expect in a cheap roadside motel, not what I expect to get from a $100 / night place. Rooms old, in need of some repair, smelly. Beds of poor quality. In the middle of a construction zone, very difficult to get there. The power went out for two days so there was no a/c or lights and the owner refused to offer more of refund other than $30. Very bad condition, heater is broken. Bed is too old. We were charged 18% tax in the reception which should be 13% according to the booking information. It's the worst hotel I ever lived in. not happy at all.
