For 79 dollars I did not expect much, but actually the room was fine. Clean and somewhat updated. Large flat-screen and tons of channels. I have paid double and the rooms are no better. Also, plenty of free parking. Front reception Elisabeth was a God send when I had problems with my reservations and later locked my keys in the car. Accomodation's clean. Morning breakfast was ample and was not taken away before people got up. Location central.
all reviews » I loved the reception for the west point graduation. my older children enjoyed bar/entertainment. the room was clean the staff helpful the eggs where freash lots of parking no pets thank God. beds were comfie,room was clean,nice room for the price. Nice reception when arrived. Tastee snacks. The room was quite spacious. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and not overcrowded, plenty of space to sit. The price was reasonable. Not luxurious but adequate for our needs (just an overnight stop). Easy access to Denny's. They also have their own restaurant but the hours seemed a little restrictive. Although the hotel was in a busy location, it was quiet. It was conveniently located to major highways.We had a small frig and microwave in room. The location is perfect if you want to go to the Woodbury Outlets. The location since we were visiting West Point. It was affordable, room was clean. NOTHING, I am serious in saying that I would not let my dog sleep or eat here. The lobby smelled musty and was dark especially where you register. Needs a re-do for sure. Updated lighting and new rugs or tile. The person behind the counter was nervous and not that friendly. Pool was close during this stay when it should have been prepared for this long weekend. the room was small the white wash colth was a bit dark the should use bleash two many kids in the pool with No life guard. it was a little loud at times when people were walking through the hall and there was drilling going on when we got there. TV hard to operate. Few channels. Remote buttons didn't coordinate with screen options. The staff weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. The whole hotel appears to need some updating. The pool was closed (understandable as it was October) but it would have been nice to be able to sit outside. This area whilst spacious had no available furniture and was very scruffy. We might have tried the in house restaurant had it been a little more welcoming. Got the feeling that they really only wanted to use it for functions etc. Hallways darkish and carpeting dated.A staleness in the air of halls and room. Everything appeared to need an updating. The bathroom is old and needs to be renovated. Your facility is showing some wear....and there were no "grab bars" in the shower. (important safety feature for older travellers). There was a nest of birds chirping in the drop ceiling in one of the stairwells. Evidence of birds nesting near entrance D. Bathrooms & hallways need updating, look dirty & dated. Far too much deferred maintenance. Worst of all, my 4 year old & I witnessed a domestic dispute full of profanity at the continental breakfast. Another guest tried in vain to break it up. Food was adequate. If major steps aren't taken soon, this hotel is on the brink of seedy. The guy ahead of me had a handicap and had to walk back to desk because the keys didnt work . I too have a handicap and of course i had the same problem . This is an issue in many hotels and shouldnt be . This is a complete turnoff for my stay when the keys dont work its a bad omen . This hotel should be closed, words cannot discribe how terrible it truly is. The staff is an embarasement to the Ramada name and the hotel was so bad I cehcked in and out in under and hour and went accros the street to the Hampton Inn. I was charged $180.00 for the two rooms I booked even though I cancled the reservation before 6:00pm. The manager said to bad its hotel policy to charge you. I. It was dirty unkept and needs a major renovation .... We didn't even tk a shower due to dirtiness and sanitary issues.. We had to leave and wait to get home to shower. There laundry rooms w "clean" sheets blankets etc was dirty and stuffed all in a closet. Slept w towel wouldn't use coverlet...over all never again and I will not b recommending it. The ONLY thing I can say is worth goin there is for music they have downstairs in the bar/restaurant.
