everything u could ask for. Everything !! short walk to the #1 subway
line which takes u all the way down to battery park. There are
housing projects directly behind thebuilding, but there was no
trouble at all & that just added to the whole atmosphere of
staying in ny. They put on several events on each day & night so
u get to meet a lot of other travelers & explore in a group.

The fact that the hotel was so small made it so you saw the same front
of house staff everyday. It made everything feel very familiar and
comfortable. The concierge was a great help in choosing a show and
getting us great seats at the very last minute. The front desk was
accommodating when we asked to change rooms as well. The room, although
small, felt very comfortable and not too crowded.

This is a "Classic" hotel that is part of the Waldorf Astoria. Separate entrance, separate doorman, concierge, etc. Feels like "Old New York". Rooms have 15 ft ceilings and wonderful architecture. We had two rooms and our daughter's room was modern, phenomenal bath all in marble. great, personal, service. Will definitely stay again. -

Right at Lexington and 55th, which is a perfect location. Clean rooms, safe, good airco. Comfortable bed, yet a bit small for two persons. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place if you need a place to sleep. No more , no less. There's no hanging out in the lobby and meet up with some people, because there is no lobby/bar. We arrived an hour early and were let into our room which we didn't expect. Staff were very friendly at reception and gave us free spanish tapas vouchers for use at the bar in the hotel.
