  Our stay at the Crowne plaza was a perfect choice for our holiday. Thehotel, the room and bathroom was so clean and also smelt clean, thestaff were also very helpful and polite. We also had dinner at thererestaurant and drinks at there bar, where we found it to be very modernand clean. If we were to visit ny again there would be no other choicebut ... what people say » to stay there again. - The staff was very helpful, kind and always had a smile to make you feel welcomed. The room was wonderful just as the description on the website. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in New York. This would be my hotel of choise !

  This hotel, though on the southern tip of Manhattan, was conveniently located near several subway stations providing access to many different lines. Transportation to/from the airport was easy and there were cabs and livery cars available when we were ready to leave. Staff were welcoming and quite helpful. It was a steal in comparison to other - The staff was very friendly, especially the bell hops and front desk clerk. We had a tv issue and they were in our room in 2 minutes after the call to fix it. Despite what you read on some reviews, the elevator wasn't that slow. Plus, it is New York, learn to wait sometimes. We had a good view of lower Manhattan and the river.   We were spoiled. The staff made us feel like we were very special...they even sent our little ones milk, cookies, and candy with the sweetest note to let them know that they were special. Our experience was flawless. We came to New York as a Christmas present to our grandchildren. Out room over looked time square and every experience we had was... what people say » magical. Thanks to the great staff at the Marriott Marquis, they could not have been anymore professional, helpful or kind, especially to our little - The Marriot Marquis have a very friendly staff. Everyone was always helpful and all smiles. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The Christmas spirit with all the CHristmas trees in lobby was truley magical. One is able to see all the efforts that were made to give a guest a magicial holiday spirit the moment you walk through the doors. The restaurants, gift shops and loungres are very convenient as well. Over our opinion of hotel is a excellent plus plus.

We were sent to a room initially that had been cleaned but then it looked like someone had come afterwards to shower and dress (used razor in shower, empty perfume bottle, towel and robe used, etc.) The staff was very apologetic, sent us to a better room and sent up a bottle of red wine.   The staff were just excellent. Requests were responded to immediately, and the bellmen were wonderful. On several occasions they and the concierge gave us great advice about transportation, places to eat, and things to do, and they always were smiling and friendly. The room was very quiet. The staff were very good also. We upgraded to the Sheraton Club on the 21st floor which was nice, it had a great view of the City and Hudson River. It is not a luxury hotel but is very comfortable and affordable.

  The position is simply perfect to visit Manhattan, very close to Times Sq., the 5th Av., the theater distr. and a couple of strategic subway stations. The hotel has nothing special, but really has everithing you need: clean, confortable, nice staff, gym, lounge with printer and pc and complimentarey (and good) coffee, free wifi, complimentary wate... what people say » r... We went as tourist for a long week-end and were complitely satisfied, but I would also consider this hotel for business trip. - Location was excellent... On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner. The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!

  I am a designer and i loved the whole design of this hotel, everything was exceptional in its design and finish, far beyond the likes of any other hotel. I liked the pictures on the net before I booked but you most definitely have to see this place to believe it, especially the swimming pool, nestled between two asymmetric stainless steel towered... what people say » walls that look like there are from another dement ion , the whole pool area is stunning but the jewel in the crown of this hotel is the AMAZING poli - The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access).   From the moment we walked into the hotel lobby we felt very at home....there was a wonderful smell of fresh lillies and the check-in was very efficient and courteous. We had forgotten our padlock key to our suitcase but it wasn't a problem as one of the staff came up to our room with a pair or bolt cutters! The bed was one of the most comfortable ... what people say » we have ever slept in- which made it difficult getting up in the mornings! The room was lovely and had tea/coffee making facilities as well as a micro - I find the Blakely to be centrally located for all activities in Manhattan. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious enough. I love the area in the room where you have Emeril Kerik coffee and the Kerik coffee maker. there is also a microwave, a small refrigerator, sink and utensils for morning coffee if you want to sleep late and not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms spotless where the magnifying mirror on the wall is

  Everything was great - we appreciated the room, the view, the service, the included breakfast, the location, the staff. It was for sure the best choice we could have made in New York (quality and price wise). - I couldn't ask for any more than what i got,i'm very happy
