This hotel was awesome!!! Four forty-somethings met for our annual 'girls weekend' and were unsure about the hotel, since we booked online. We had an apartment reserved that fell through at the last minute and in a panic we found the Intercontinental online and we were so happy. We could not believe how clean and beautiful this hotel was the conceirge and doormen were wonderfully helpful. Great restaurant recommendations, etc. We will definitely stay again. Suitable for city trip.
Staff was great. Our room smelled like someone smoked, this was handled well by staff, we were given another room next day. Best were Dan and Henry (I hope I'm right about the name). Dan is the soul of the hotel, friendly and helpful. Don't know about remaining staff.

This hotel is almost so perfect, so it becomes in fact boring. How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.

The location of this hotel was excellent, it was approx 10-15 mins max walk from the main centre of Times Square. I had looked at other hotels nearer to Times Square prior to going that were more expensive, but found so many hidden gems with food and bars on the walk to Times Square that both my wife and I would certainly use this Hotel again in the future. The Beer Authority Pub was just down the street that was a great place to drink and eat. The Buffalo wings are H-h-h-hooot.

This was a simple hotel but given that it's more or less the cheapest you can expect to pay for something decent in Manhattan, it's great value for money. We were 3 friends staying at the hotel who had 2 bedrooms with adjoining bathroom which always had hot water. We each got a bed as there is a pullout bed which was just as comfy as the single bed. There was also a double bed with wardrobes and hangers. The room was spotless and we had our towels changed and beds made every day. This was a perfect spot for us. We wanted to be close to the Thanksgiving day parade from which we flew in from Boston to see. Our hotel wasn't in the mob of millions of people but located just behind the crowd so all we needed to do was go back to the hotel to use the amenities. What a FAB hotel
