Had a three night stay at The Gotham Hotel and feel I received good value for the money. Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us any information we wanted. They also organised taxis - at a rate negotiated by the hotel which was cheaper than the regular taxi rate and stored our luggage (checkout time is the usual 12.00) and we weren't leaving New York until the evening. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious by New York standards and were very clean and modern. The hotel is ideally situated - near to 5th Avenue, Times Square and Central Park but not in a noisy area. Everything! We especially loved the bunk room set up! We traveled with
two parents and two adult boys 18 & 20. We all wanted to stay in

Absolutely everything was amazing! The room was amazingly clean. As a
couple with a 12 month old who requires crawling all day, the room
needed to be exceptionally clean and it was just that. Never a piece of
trash left behind or stray bugs in sight (considering the place is in
china town). The beds were like sleeping on clouds and the pillows where
so soft and comfortable. Nice clean bathrooms and very spacious rooms.

My father and I shared a standard queen room overnight while visiting
nyc to see a concert. I was amazed that the concierge desk is open and
available 24-7 - we ended up checking into our room at around 10:45 pm
and the staff was still very happy to greet us. Each staff member
expressed their wonderful personality and kindness in every interaction,
and were 100% accommodating. The decor of common spaces as well as that
of our room was chic yet comfortable; we enjoyed the entire experience.

The front desk girls were amazing .... very happy and extremely helpful. We had room 1601 (on the 16th floor) and had a view of the Empire State Building which was fab. The hotel was very quite at night .... just what we wanted. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends/family. For the money, it far exceeded our expectations. Greenwich and Soho are literally on the doorstep, so great for eating and shopping.
