Location. Access to restaurant. Availability of restaurant (opened early-closed late). Reasonable cost for food. Courteous staff. Other guests seemed happy and friendly. Conscientious Housekeeping staff. I stayed in Room 44 and the Housekeeping staff on that floor were particularly kind. Availability of gift shop. Number of travel size personal item like soaps, and creams, etc., a plus.

Small point - but I could not get the clock in the room to work correctly. I finallyl had to unplug the thing to not confuse myself with the time. I was coming from a different time zone to begin with - having the wrong time displayed on the clock made things just a tad confusing at first.

Excellent Location, Diner with value for money meals attached to hotel, friendly porters nothing too much trouble for them, clean rooms,

Water pipes made a bit of noise during night, woke with a fright thought someone was banging on the pipes.

when we checked in, the room we were sent to was under renovation. however, they had another room available, and the bellman took care of rearranging that for us.

Only first night -room was very warm,noisy from outside,we had smole room with smole double bed and I sleept on the foor,because we couldnt sleep 2girls on this mini bed.Next day was everything ok,they gived us room with 2singles beds.

Location great, room big for nyc, we are a family of 5 had a juniorsuite with two nice rooms very confortable. Nice clean and confortable,getting old but well maintain.
