This was a perfect spot for us. We wanted to be close to the Thanksgiving day parade from which we flew in from Boston to see. Our hotel wasn't in the mob of millions of people but located just behind the crowd so all we needed to do was go back to the hotel to use the amenities. The best surprise was the excellent food as the adjacent restaraunt which gave us 20% off ours meals because we stayed.

The conceierge (Gerry) was particularly helpfull with our restaurant and helicopter flight bookings. The chocolates on the pillows every evening and following days weather report was a nice touch. Well stocked mini bar. Free morning papers.Great place! The lounge on sat night was lots of fun. This hotel is in a perfect location if your going to see broadway shows. Beds are really comfortable!. false advertising that it has a bar, the bar was closed on fri and sat as it had private parties, i did complain to the hotel management. sink did not drain, minibar not cold, elevators erratic, room too warm for sleeping from abour 3 am to 6 am...would recommend only with reservations re: these issues. They need to upgrade/improve the exercise facility -- it's outdated and lacking in equipment. Also, the bathroom in my room needed updating (and/or a good bleaching). Housekeeping didn't clean the room one day, which was inconvenient. Some staff did not understand the concept of service, with attendance ranging from surly to extremely delayed to quite nice as normally expected. As we were entertaining, it became a bit troublesome to not have ice machines available for guests when staff was taking more than 40 minutes to respond to requests. Also, the lovely electronic do not disturb signs were ignored.
