The hotel is new,very clean,fantastic.Location is great.The staff is very helpful,friendly,working hard to keep you feel welcome and they're always smiling.nice fitness center,big rooms,comfortable beds,big shower,great hotel for good price.we will,for sure stay in this hotel when we go back to NYC and nowhere else. The staff arranged for my suite to have a beautiful arrangement of flowers and champagne ready for chrvk-in as they were aware I was in NYC celebrating my bachelorette. Also the staff accommodated my request for early check in/out free of charge. .
all reviews » The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our King Suite room was ideal for the needs of a group of four. It was our sons 21st birthday, the cup cakes and view of the Chrysler building from our room arranged by the staff made it extra special. The breakfast buffet is great--lots of options, lots of hot food. There are receptions many weeknights, and you could almost make a meal from those as well. The staff is very helpful and courteous. This is a good location too. Clean, modern updated rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Midtown location is good if you are willing to be away from Times Square area Wi-fi included Kitchenette useful. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. Our double queen suite was spacious and had a kitchenette. It was within walking distance of central city attractions. We had a good sized room with kitchenette and view of Chrysler Building but had to ask for a bigger room the first one was very small. We got a room for 4 people with 1 bedroom. The price quoted on our booking was $379 per night but upon checkout we were charged $379 for the first night and $409 for the second. The matress of the coach needs to be replaced. Air conditioning was fine but noisy. Scarce soap and shampoo for 4 people. Bring your own. 300 a night plus a parking charge of 55. May be they could give a better discount for the parking. The pictures of the room type shown on letsbookhotel.com did not match the room we recevied. I like to have a pool and Jacuzzi, but at the very least a bathtub. My room only had a shower. The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was that you had to wait a long time for the elevator to come. I don't know that its always like that though, there may have been elevator trouble that weekend that has since been fixed. The pillows were terrible, too hard and thick. Nothing. The price is high. I booked about nine months before and confirmed weeks before arriving and asked for a room high up but got one on the 4th floor. I was told that the hotel was full and couldn't be moved. It certainly wasn't full when I booked and requested this. Price for breakfast is too high. The elevators didnt work well. Breakfast has poor selection of food. Room number 1023. At a four stars hotel, it's totally unforgivable that had a rodent mouse or rat in the room ,eating up the food on the kitchen counter , and the staff immediately communicate it ( David at front desk, and the manager, I supose ) DIDN't do anything, or give any solution , changing the room or had changed some details Or a discoint. This caused that cancelled up a second booking in the same hotel , a few days later . Absolutely pitiful and embarrasing for Marriott. Bathroom too small. Far from 5th Avenue and Broadway, closer to these venues would have made life easier. A room for breakfast is small, we couldn`t get a table. There was a queue to get to the lifts. letsbookhotel.com price was not guaranteed! We paid more!. Way too expensive. The free breakfast was a zoo. The extra guest when we arrived a very large cockroach. The cost inflating without prior knowledge three times in five days. Requesting assistance to make an international phone call and not being informed that the call could cost nearly a thousand dollars. The complementary breakfast didnt cater for people with allergies and was chaotic.
