For the money we paid it was really good. New york hotels are expensive! For this price u cant expect that much. It was just a simple room with a bed, a sink and a tv but thats all you need for a couple of days. We stayed there for just one night. The staff was friendly so all in all it was a nice stay there. Alsothe hotel is in the middle of chinatown and just a few streets away from Little Italy and the Subway! Though the bathroom could have been more cleaner but hey its a shared bathroom so .

After all, in 'the City that Never Sleeps' you don't want to spend too much time in your hotel room!. Location!!! Several subway lines within minutes of walking, very good and cheap places to eat, not bad nightlife area, also seems to be not dangerous to come back late and alone. Staff members and manager are proffessional and very helpful. Lower cost than up town Manhattan close to little Italy and proximity to shops in Chinatown. I loved that it was in walking distance of nearly everthing. Location was great, place was clean and well kept. it was cool on first floor and good for the price. Great girl at reception. I liked that they allowed us to store our bags after checkout, while we were roaming NY on our last day :-). Great location in china town. Very handy for quick stopover from return trip to Niagara Falls. They called a car to take us to the airport and kept our suitcases with them for a few hours. The walls were very thin, which was awkward when the couple in the next room were firstly 'getting intimate' and later arguing. Luck if the draw, I guess... Shared bathrooms could be cleaner. Also internet is very slooooow at night (daytime its ok). Chinatown dirty, old building.. No elevator. Walls a bit thin. The size may initially freak you out if you're used to regular sized rooms. no food in hotel or soda. "2 person standard room" may not mean 2 beds. My T.V. in room 502 did not have a working remote control. no lift, just stairs and room size, but it is compensated by price. Could have been a little cleaner. Not terrible but would have benefited from a sweep. The bathroom was separate from the room. The lower floor was overrun with roaches,and some of the single rooms were dilapidated.Most guests were young hostel/backpacker types, and were loud and inconsiderate (smoking, talking, running and slamming doors..) No elevator, five steep flights of stairs, and the bathrooms (shared) were filthy. Not a place to bring the kids. Only 2 restrooms for a whole floor. Had to wait for the turn. Thin wall, I could hear the next door guests talking really close like they were talking right next to me. The walls were kinda thin (you could hear everything in the hallway). the staff did not care about you. it is noisy! Just one restroom to share. waiting and waiting!. Three nights later we got only a room with a shared bathroom. The room was realy awful. The ventilation-system was extremly loud. We could not sleep in there. It's a bit warm in my room at 217. bathroom floor was very wet and not that clean, shower and toilet could use more cleaning. Just a bit noisy during the night because the rooms are too small and sound proof was bad, and too few toilets for too many travelers. Wifi does not work very well, even the computer for customer use is poorly connected to internet. - Open platform - Room Spacing - Only Two Bathrooms for the whole Floor. Room is about the size of the bed(I am not kidding), that's New York..I can not blame the Hotel for that. However, pics and description (including room size) should show what exactly you are going to get for your money, so there will not be any surprise. There are 2 bath/restrooms per floor. OK for one night... However on a space of 2x3 meter whithout windows. The hairdryer in my room cannot be used. I have to go to the public restroom for hair-drying. Bathroom for many persons. The room was very small, the wifi didn't work, the bed was uncomfortable and the room and bathroom were dirty, however I expected this for the price. staircase. Floors and stairwells could have been cleaner. Size of room less than in Hongkong last year. some rooms are without windows. Bathroom/shared needs a bit more attention in the morning. I was in the same floor as the front desk, trust me, it was the worst idea! It was too noisy that I couldn't sleep more than 3 hours in row! The other thing is the shared bathroom. It was not really bad, but it was not comfortable at all. The neighborhood is not clean and smells fish!. Not particularly clean, really thin walls (no problem hearing everthing your neighbor is saying on the phone). There is no elevator/escalator. You need to drag your back up one flight of stairs. No LIFT! Very steep and long flights of stairs to our room with our heavy luggage! Room tiny and bed not very comfortable. You get what you pay for!!!. Small room, shared bathroom could be cleaner, area was very loud at night. Very small room. We had one meter space in front of the bed and one on one side of the bed. Regarding cleanliness: its obvious that its run by asians. Laud, thin walls super small room, I couldn't even unpack my back on the floor unpleasant stuff (except of cleaning crew). I had allergy problems there (e.g.dust). Noisy hotel,.. small room, small bed for 2 persons, thin walls, dirty bathrooms. Room to small. Paper thin walls shared bathroom. Steep stairs. 1. You can hear your next door neighbor clearly. 2. You can smell if your neighbor smoking even if you are in non smoking room. 3. No elevator, 2nd and 3rd floor will be a hassle with heavy luggage. the noise,the cleanliness,the soundproofing,the ridiculous size of the room. noisy neighbor. Rumours Dimension of rooms. is not comfortable. Everything.. I dread going to toilet because its always dirty, wet floor, absence of cleaners on ground to clean it up. For crying out load, the rooms tv are outdated, should be replaced with latest flat screen as contained in your advert. No matter how small, mirror should be in the room. As a matter of urgency, the towels should be changed, they are old, outdated,not to be seen in hotels. Duvey was flat, parts torn, not comfortable. this hotel has no elevator, so if you have a huge bag this is not your place to stay.
