The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming all the time. Omar at the front desk was very helpful in granting our room request on the top floor and Edwin was helpful in keeping our bags for us before/after check-in and check-out. Loved the coffee/tea in the lobby and fresh cookies every afternoon were a big hit with my niece. The room was large, super clean and very comfortable. My brother stayed in a different hotel in the neighborhood and said our room was bigger; he paid about $80 more per .
all reviews » From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by a friendly and professional staff named Joe. We had called earlier that am prior to boarding our flight to get an early check in time with success. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for with less volume of people in and out of it for the NY Marathon weekend. The restaurant right next door had nice organic food choices and we loved that we did not have to go out in the cold and could walk straight through the lobby to dine. Very comfo. Service was incredible. I had problems with the parking lot I left my car and ended up having to stay another night. Staff did evrything they could not to let mu trip be ruined. All other aspects of the hotel were also great. Right outside Metro station and food and service at restaurant downstairs is very good. Would definitely stay again! Just do not park your car at 14 White St at 6th Ave, a open sky parking lot at the corner. Guy lied to me, left my car stuck there and wanted to charge me m. Staff were most helpful and very polite. Location near to lower Manhattan great for 9/11 memorial, high line walk, Brooklyn bridge etc. subway almost at door a real plus, it made it easy to get anywhere. Without even realizing it, my hotel ended up only a few blocks from the annual Halloween parade up 6th Ave.. I was less than a mile from the Memorial and Little Italy, China town.......the attached restaurant/bar was great.......couldn't have been happier. The room had a noisy A/C that kept waking us at night. Beds were not the best, but certainly not uncomfortable. Air Conditioner really noisy. Second elevator not working. The bed was terrible, the mattress was so weak we went all day with backache!! Also the hallway smelt funny... Room right next to elevator shaft. Really loud. Room very small but I guess that's NYC. Id stay there again but in a different room. They wouldn't accept my Hilton loyalty club because I booked through a 3rd party, so I missed out on points.
