The room was spotless, the plumbing was superb. Maid service and room service were both outstanding and the hotel was located very conveniently relative to my activities in the city.

My only complaint is with the excessive taxes and fees added to the bill, but of course the hotel isn't to blame for those.

the location is excellent for our needs and we stayed there before with our kids over 20 years ago when it was the Summit. So nostalgia played a part too !!!

very nice and clean! The elevators were excellent---fast and efficient! the beds were very comfortable--showers and bathroom very nice----we loved our stay and will definitely come back!!!

very friendly and courteous staff, rooms very clean. Needed to replace our blowdryer at 10:00 p.m., staff was there within 10 minutes with a new one. Staff was always available and very visible in lobby to greet you as you came in and went out. Conceirge was wonderful. Great stay, great hotel.

We liked the location of the hotel, staff were extremely obliging and friendly. Rooms were lovely and so were the breakfasts, especially the waffles and syrup!!

The hotel charged to keep our luggage for us - on the day of arrival and the day of departure. Never had to pay before in any other hotel s we have stayed in.

The hotel is in an excellent location, convenient to everything (walking distance) with subway station just outside the door. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable (more spacious than most NY hotels). Staff was courteous and helpful. We had a problem with the heater, and someone came immediately to fix it. Cafe Metro, just outside the front door, was perfect for breakfast. Comfortable beds, nice TV.

Considering the price of the rooms, it did not seem appropriate to charge $2 per bag to hold luggage for a few hours after check-out.

The fan in the washroom did not absorb the moisture very well and therefore everything in the washroom became moist and wet. Other than that our stay was good and the staff were great.

The bed was great! The warm cookies incheck in were wonderfull.

The way the staff seemed to really want to help with all my needs, especially Heidi and the gentleman manager as well. Conceirge services were exceptional on dining and entertainment as well.

Did not like that this Doubletree did not have a 5-7pm happy hour with hot hors d'oervers for Hilton Honors Gold Customers as most of them do and most Hilton properties which have a bar.
