Our stay at the Crowne plaza was a perfect choice for our holiday. Thehotel, the room and bathroom was so clean and also smelt clean, thestaff were also very helpful and polite. We also had dinner at thererestaurant and drinks at there bar, where we found it to be very modernand clean. If we were to visit ny again there would be no other choicebut to stay there again. The staff was very helpful, kind and always had a smile to make you feel welcomed. The room was wonderful just as the description on the website. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in New York. This would be my hotel of choise !.

Friendliness of staff, accomodating housekeeping staff, clean well stocked room, doorstaff who were courteous and always helpful and humourous!. great cost-benefice!. location and comfort. excited location in the heart of times square we were on the 30th floor and no noise from the streets. hotel 5 star if in ireland would stay there again we had 2 double beds loads of room fab beds to sleep inn. The location is excellent. The handicapp accessible room made getting around very easy and the size and accesibility of the bathroom was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Everyone was very friendly. The lobby was beautiful and the rooms were great at a very good price. My room-- peaceful/private and wonderful view. The way two nights were at reasonable prices and the thrid was almost double the other two together. I was warned, but what was I expected to do? Move for the thrid night? Come off it...2. The new (?) bar is ill-placed: when there is a reception it is impossible to hear/speak to staff at receptions. Small lobby. when we arived there was a bit of dirt on the top sheet so we removed the sheet. we read a few negative reports on the web page but we found everything to our satisfaction. funishings in the room,comfy king sized bed.beautiful bed linen etc. agents were a bit overwhelmed - long queue at check-in - have to pay for all extras (internet access, pool access, etc.). I made use of the complimentary swimming pool area during off peak times--The use was limited to one outer lane for hotel residents and the water was on the cold side.Also the steam room and sauna area in particular would benefit from a makeover/refurbishment.I am unsure as to whether the Hotel is responsible for this area or if it is independently run by the new york sports club. Staff were ok but could have been more polite. The hotel was so busy that there just didn't seem to be enough front desk staff. my room was backing the staff's elevators, so very noisy during days and nights. New York hotels are now overpriced amongst other world capitals. The room was not ready at 3pm for check-in. Reception tried to charge $20 more than booking.com rate and give us a room with one king instead of the two double beds.There was no mini-bar and the internet fees were quite high. ventilation control in room. No hot water for over an hour in the morning with temperature in theteens. For $300 per night we minimally expected clean sheets and awarm shower. Price. difficulty with hotel reception to get booking price accepted,initially they put a higher price in, but finally hotel management accepted booking price.Missed also restaurant facilities (no dinners served),services limited. the hotel staff could be much more friendly and custom-oriented. the reception staff were rude and it was expensive given the service. The staff was ruud.
