The hotel was in a great location. Also, had a lovely lounge and free access to computers which was quite handy. The entire hotel staff were wonderful especially the housekeeping staff. The room had a small fridge which was great, and the hotel offers luggage storage. The subway is on the same block and 3 blocks to the heart of Time Square. Byrant park is accross the street and is a lovely location to relax. Great value for the location.
all reviews » I thought the location and price were excellent. The staff were very helpful and nothing was missing from our experience. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable with a big bed and great tv. The free WiFi was a brilliant extra and made a real difference to the whole experience. Comfy beds, very clean room, Nosh food great for breakfast, the majority of staff are super helpful,nice and friendly. One female staff at the concierge desk was not so and we nearly missed our flight because of it. Perfectly located just a few blocks off Times Square, yet on a quiet street close to Bryant Park. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were quiet; first floor lounge area very accommodating. Rooms and lobby were very clean and comfortable. Very close walking distance to all activities, bus tours, restaurants and Times Square area overall. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location was fantastic, the staff were friendly and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was amazing to see the Empire State building from our bedroom window - what a bonus. Prime Location, clean overall, laundry access on the lower level, very friendly staff, room size OK we were a family of four two adults and two children. They accomodated my request for a higher floor as i had elder parents traveling with me to avoid the noise levels which was really nice. Clean, close to Time Square, nice rooms, the gym, the restaurant. public computers. Over all a great place to stay. Staff was very helpful. The bath/shower was a bit tricky but otherwise the room was great. Can't complain about Marriott beds!. The shower had a half-door, glass, that left the bathroom floor soaking wet after a shower. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. I kind of expected more of a traditional breakfast being available in the restaurant for the dollars but thta is realtively picky considering the area and available restaurants in realtively close walking distance. Having to come home!. Beds too soft for my taste and a bit small to be called "double bed". The reception seems understaffed and double up to help with buying food from the adjacent counter where i had to wait long twice and put the stuff back in the refrigerator as I couldnt wait longer. The ice matching is in the lower level. I was staying in the 2405 floor, it is hectic to get ice. people on the front desk somewhat rude, probably under staff those days who knows.............. a bit expensive. They don't offer breakfast Parking is way too expensive. The price is quite high, but is comparable to other nice hotels in the area. Bell hop wouldn't give up luggage cart. overpriced, hotel and room are not as good as shown in pictures. *cheap toilet tissue *cheap facial tissue *bathtub-shower *some of staff was rather condecsending and seemed annoyed to be helping us. Room 2204 had the bath toilet running continually. room a little bit small cost of parking. There is little in the way of food/shopping in the immediate area of the hotel. The roooms were a tad bit small. Nothing. Nothing. New York hotels expensive. Quite pricey, no additional amenities. - Concierges were all very unhelpful - gave incomplete/inaccurate info, spent time on personal calls before assisting us - Felt very over-priced compared to other brand-name hotels I've stayed in in Manhattan (hotels with room service, movies, extensive concierge services, and more). Didn't find the lobby and eating area to be very social. The bathroom was a little small. There is no view from the 18th floor where i was hopping to get. And getting out of hotel at 12 is just too early considering we stayed up that night and explored NY nightlife. We were 4/room & 2 rooms for $6,000.00. rooms incredibly small. not enough soap shampoo etc. Getting a bit dated & furniture/ fittings/ carpets are ageing. Could do with a good revamp. Bed bugs, seriously I got bitten one night and the next morning I found 1 on top of the bed. Very disappointing. I was changed to another room but very disappointing.
