Small quiet hotel, so no queues to check in or out. Great location, close to Central Park, Rockefeller Centre etc,also close to metro line.Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, spacious rooms (401 and 402, both facing the street, but good soundproofing to windows), great showerroom with excellent hot shower, good air con, free wifi and coffee maker. Very comfy beds. No facilities, other than the attractive roof terrace, but no problem as excellent diner across road and close to P J Clarkes. Grea.
all reviews » Right at Lexington and 55th, which is a perfect location. Clean rooms, safe, good airco. Comfortable bed, yet a bit small for two persons. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place if you need a place to sleep. No more , no less. There's no hanging out in the lobby and meet up with some people, because there is no lobby/bar. The entrance has a counter and the elevator up. Good location, near Lex/53rd for E trains to lower Manhattan or JFK. Bloomingdales is only about 5 minutes walk away as are a lot of other shops. Central park is in walkable distance too. Clean and tidy hotel. Came with free Wi-Fi, TV and a safe. Bathroom also very clean. The bed was very comfortable; the room was very clean; had nice details like bathrobes and excellent toiletries (especially shampoo and conditioner); location close to the Metropolitan Museum and the Frick Collection and Lincoln Center. A small cosy hotel, completely renovated tastefully. All amenities - fridge, safe, Better shower than more expensive hotels. Lots of drawer space. Bathroom a little small Poor concierge for people who aren't familiar with the area. i liked it all. Small rooms, room decor beside lights were so bright and you had to have both on!. Price. Relatively small room and too small wardrobe. The noise of the air conditioner. Nothing. Very small room with no window. Needs more light in bathroom. room space. Over priced. No work out room. The staff was not knowledgeable about the area or places to eat. 1) No kettle for hot water; 2) Shower tap didn't function quite well. 3) Not sure how to adjust the Air Conditioning temperature, kinda cold over nite. Price and lack of views.
