  The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return in a - We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

  I have stayed here for just one night and again for seven consecutive nights, and each time I have had a lovely, spacious, clean room with a large bathroom and all the amenities such as coffee maker, fridge, microwave, iron, WiFi, etc. You can pick up a free newspaper in the lobby every day.   This was the most beautiful Hotel. The service was above excellent. The staff were so friendly and catered to your every need and the breakfast is out of this world. If it was a ship it would be just like the titanic. Would definetly recommend. Conviently located to everything. Cant say enough wonderful things about it.   Upgraded to king size bed. Quaint location w/garden patio. 1/2 mile walk to French Quarter. Hosts were nice. Breakfast was fantastic. I was allowed 12pm check out which made a big difference to me. I would return again.

  I Loved the comforter on our bed it was so comfortable to sleep in, and the pillows were amazing as well! The hotel it's self is very convenient, right across the way from the street car (which isn't exspensive at all) there are awesome food places all over the place, not far from the French quarter or Bourbon street, basically right where you wan... what people say » t to be, the area around the hotel is safe there is security at night that walks the property. The staff at the front desk where awesome, so very frie - This place looked little tired but the rooms were large, very clean,really great location with lots of eating places near by also street car straight across road and the staff very very helpful. Breakfast was also included and was really nice and large selection. The only negative was that we stayed the weekend of Jazz Festival and the room price nearly doubled but we would certainly stay there again loved it
