Excellent customer service, I love this hotel, I will definitely stay there again. I stay in Orleans every year, and I never had a great experience in a hotel before, I mean the service was excellent, the people who work here at Beinville is so nice and so friendly. We love New Orleans and the staff (especially Sandra) made our stay here incredible. Location was excellent-staff great-room was great-mattress not as good as it could have been-but not horrible-shampoo, etc.were great too. Close to everything. Quaint, lovely, etc. The pool area-courtyard was very beautiful. The lobby was beautiful.Conveniently located to all places we wanted to go. I loved the room, it was charming, good location for our needs, the staff was great. They were kind, amusing and smiled a lot - our kind of people!. Valet parking was a bit of an issue when we arrived - staff managed problem as well and as soon as they could.Non smoking and the additional charge for parking. Our room had no bathtub, only a shower with no sides so when you took your shower, the entire bathroom floor got wet. Not enough space to put things in the bathroom. Counter is too small.9.95 for internet is just wrong. In addition the payment process didnt work so we couldn't actually use the internet. Ofcourse the person at the front desk had no way to fix this as the service is not actually run by the hotel. The service provider had a support number which is closed during the weekend. Seriously. Paid-by-customer internet at a hotel is the biggest blunder made in the hotel indus. poor breakfast, maintenance at certain points could be better (powerpoint in bathroom didn't work, door bathroom did hardly close). Wireless internet in the room did not work properly. The transporation service was not up to bar. It seems that the hotel does not have enough parking spaces for its guest so they have worked a deal with a hotel down the street. The hotel down the street ended up breaking the gearshift of the car and denied that they had done it. They also said that if we field a police report they would deny the claim. I would be cautious about leaving your car.

From the West
1-10 East to New Orleans Business District. As you approach downtown area, follow I-10 East, Slidell. Exit 235 A - Vieux Carre/ Orleans Avenue.
Get in left lane on Orleans, as soon as possible, approximately 3 blocks, take a left on Conti Street You will cross Rampart Street, then be in the French Quarter. Travel 6 blocks on Conti Street. When you come to Decatur Street, take a right. The Bienville House is in the middle of the block on the left side.
