My fiancé and I stayed in the Comfort Inn Downtown in Nashville had a brilliant stay. Although it is around 10 minutes walk into the main streets, we found this to be to our liking and loved the quiet location. Nashville is a very safe city and so walking back and forth late at night etc wasn't a problem. Great rooms and parking also which was a big attraction. Highly recommended!. This hotel was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. It was walking distance to downtown (we walk a lot), the breakfast area and options were excellent, the pool was clean, comfortable bed and staff excellent. We had an issue with a bathroom light and they came and replaced it within an hour! Great price and perfect for budget watchers!.

We had a group of friends who went to Nashville to run a half marathon and the hotel made life much easier.Three of us forgot to print out our packet information and the front desk happily printed them for us. The place was clean, the price was right and we would definitely recommend this location. We were somewhat taken aback to find quite major work on part of the building.The manager saw our concern and personally took us to two excellent rooms which totally allayed any doubts we had..It has an excellent location allowing guests the option of walking to and from the nightlife in Broadway, a walk which to us seemed absolutely safe. Room was lovely, wee bit dark due to overhanging balcony. Breakfast was perfect plenty of variety, great location, 15 min walk from downtown and 4.50 dollar taxi ride, was a bit sceptical due to reviews about ongoing renovations but found minimum disruption on my arrival. Staff were extremely helpful and I will definitely stay here again. A clean room with comfortable beds and good facilities - perfect for what we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great - close to the freeway and main streets, but room was completely quiet! Nice selection of restaurants just across the street - try Tamarind, an Indian restaurant - it was yummy!. Staff was friendly, very helpful, and eager to insure the comfort of our stay. Restaurants and sites within walking distance and a $5 to $7 cab ride from downtown back to the hotel. Did not notice the construction noise but we were downtown during the day. I would stay there again and a good value in Nashville. The location was very convenient, a short walk to downtown Nashville and a short drive to Vanderbilt University, where I needed to go. The hotel is still under construction. It will be awesome when it's done but there were workers and a construction zone near our hotel room. Under construction but understandable to upgrade. We had asked for a Jacuzzi tub when we were on the letsbookhotel.com site, and booked what we though was a room with that tub; got to the room, no Jacuzzi tub. They still had construction going on, even though it stated that it was completed prior to our arrival. This made it a little difficult to manuever through the parking lot. Rooms are a bit cramped. Only complaint was our refrigerator did not work properly, could not adjust the temperature and everything froze. The hotel was under construction, but it was not noisy and it was fairly clean for all the construction taking place. The brief hike to get to the bar seen. No gym as advertised and asked about...could have used one at another hotel. No cleaning service for two days. initially it was difficult to find our room. the layout of the hotel was unusual. The internet conection some times was poor. More options in the breakfast. Currently undergoing some renovations and the block next door was being developed - so parking was at a premium and it was a bit noisy - but that being said - the noise dispated at night. Cleaning staff, good job, bit could not speak English so could not communicate with them. The price varies so much, also I didn't get a smoking room and I normally do. We booked our room at least 1 month in advance paid full price and had to stay in a room right above all the renovating construction. Very disturbing, very noisey early in the morning. Bathroom vanity light (way too harsh) No hot tub. Noise from workers at 4 am but it was ok. They over charged me. Make sure to double check your bill!. Cold showers for 2 days!. small bathrooms. The carpet really needs replaced. price was a bit high given that it was still a 10-12 block walk to downtown. the work in proress at the lobby. Poor internet connection.
