The staff were very good indeed, friendly and helpful. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The location was excellent for access to Route 29 and touring the wine country and there was very little traffic noise. Probably not the best location if you want to explore downtown Napa and local bars/restaurants are a bit limited although there is an excellent Italian restaurant next door. Free parking and free WiFi were a plus. Overall very good indeed - apart from the bed which was not up to standa.
all reviews » This hotel was a great experience. Perfect location just minutes from Napa and on the road to the wine country. Excellent accommodation that went beyond our expectations. Tasteful, contemporary decor and they had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Great breakfast and for the price we felt it was excellent value for a real boutique hotel. I was amazed how modern friendly the interior design was. Comfortable and fun! The concierge was amazing! He gave us detailed information about the best wine tours to take and upcoming events during our stay. We will definitely be recommending friends for their travels as well:)!. - Good location, close to wineries etc - Very well appointed room, which was surprisingly large. - Guest laundry facilities are available and are reasonably priced. - Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. They organised a wine tour with Platypus with a minimum of fuss. The place was modern and new. It was clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast was great to have every morning so we didn't have to run out and find a place to eat. We could just go downstairs and enjoy. It's location is great, too. I highly recommend it. The access is easy and the location good. The reception was friendly and professional. This place is clean and well designed. The parking lot is easy and large enough. The room is clean (and the bathroom as well), with such a comfortable king size bed. Location was close to downtown Napa, and more importantly, had nice market and ups store immediately next to it. A minor thing; the bathroom light switch was located outside the bathroom. The location was ideal for travelling to the wineries although I would have preferred to be walking distance to Napa downtown or Yountville to walk to a good restaurant - you had to get a taxi or drive everywhere - which works out quite expensive when you both want to enjoy the wine!!. nothing we didn't like ! We will stay here again. The doors didn't have an air-stopper on them, so the doors slammed loudly naturally. It was irritating with the number of families around us who woke up early and had children coming in and out of their rooms, which is out of the control of the hotel, but the air-stoppers could have helped. The lighting in the bathroom/vanity area is terrible. Not only is the lighting poor the light kept going off after about 5 minutes or less. It is too expensive for such a small room. Not too impressed with the breakfast area, too small. A little more space between the bed & dresser would have been nice; it was very tight. Location a +/-....near to the main hwy 23...near to the hwy 23.... We were in a king bed room. The furnishings were a little tight so there was little room for belongings. I don't have a thing. It was an excellent experience. Breakfast is a little lacking. Could offer a few more not items. Waffles perhaps. No clean dry towels in the pool area. This is a problem at most hotels. TV channels are limited. Refridgerator in the minibar is humming all day. Breakfast a bit basic. When checking out have all of your confirmation information available. The Hotel charged me a higher rate for my stay than my reservation showed. They did adjust my rates before I left after I showed them my paperwork. My friends were charged a higher rate and because they didn't check out they now have to go back and get a refund from the hotel. I also noticed a lot of other guests having similar issues. The price in the reservation was usd 299.00 and the hotel charged me usd 309.00. Taxes were charged apart. Light switch outside of the tub/shower/toilet room. Turning on the light during the night disturbed others sleeping in the main room. Our refrigerator didn't work. The breakfast wasn't very appetizing. Quality of fruit at breakfast was poor all three days. Nothing really. Basic things - one day had no towels in room so had to call; if you even think about running in last minute for breakfast know you will have little to nothing to eat. The hall light did not stay on. Sink emptied slowly. Room 212. Not very fond of the colors used in the room. We really had no complaints. I guess was very close to dresser. Size of room - 18 inches too narrow. Box spring made noises upon entering and leaving the bed which was found to be true by other guests in the other rooms. Breakfast omelets were horrid. I'm not a fan of foam pillows, so I like it when a combination is provided. The mattress was a little firm for me but my husband liked it...personal preference. nothing. Restaurant is too small and crowded. Work week breakfast starts at 7 but I was on the road for work at 630 so that I didn't like. Breakfast only so so. few channel tv. front light is out towel hanger & bath tissue hanger are loose. breakfast was awful. The room had an adjoining door and we could hear all conversations through the door/wall. No breakfast included, and not great coffee.
