I loved the location being ocean front, the pools and pool deck were always clean and well maintained, looked nice. I liked that my room was like a mini suite with kitchenette including everything one would need to prepare meals. The balcony was a nice plus, as long as you're on the 3rd floor or higher and as long as no more than 2 people wanted to be out there at a time. Housekeeping was always friendly and courteous, the same could be said for the front desk staff. Ample parking.
all reviews » i loved it very nice and clean a little worried when i booked it bc the price was so cheap when i seen our room i was shocked very nice and on the beach very nice pool for the kids had a bar and even grills. Very nice will stAy ahain next year. The privacy, the way the room was set up, love the view from the balcany was of the ocean and not the pool thanks to the palm trees, some husbands tend to watch to hard but we didnt have that problem due to the cover of the pool by greenery. Everyone was friendly, polite and made sure that your stay was comfortable. There were extras of everything in the room; towels, pillows, bath cloths, dishes and disheasher for the kitchen. Most of all, it wasnt cluttered. I will recommend. the position on the beach. the area in which it was located. the kitchen and living space we got for the money. the cleanliness of the rooms and pool area.the ease in which the staff processed check in and out.the tranquil atmosphere. The ease of finding it. Also it offered different things to do while we were there. Had easy time booking. Staff was nice and accomadating to us upon checkin. I loved the rooms! They were big enough for the 3 of us and very clean! My 4 year old loved the pools and the family room!. Everything was great. Building is a bit dated and it showed in the details- you could tell though that they were trying but didn't quite hit the mark. Examples: lighting/wall switches (didn't know what the switches controlled), electrical outlets, televisions, in room jacuzzi. when i booked through booking the told me i was ocean front it was ocean view but we was still satified. I didnt like having to leave so soon, and that it rained several days of our visit, it was a great trip over all and a great place to stay, even as a smoker, not being aloud to smoke in the room was hard, but having the balcany made it doable. the towel arrangements. lack of parking for paying patrons when getting back late hours. the elevators could use some refurbishing. That the pool outside was not heated outside. We liked everything. That the outside looked a little run down, no complimentary free breakfast, windows that open in bedrooms, updated electronics. Shortage on parking A window leaked in the living room area. I was happy with everything. The bed was not comforatable. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff could be more friendly. And didnt like the floors not having carpet in the living rooms. Balcony overlooked swimming pool rather than ocean view. Outside very unkempt; dirty with odor in ice and vending area. Generally poorly kept in outside areas doming in and out. The appliances need to be updated. Off season price. Nothing. Too far away from the Grand Strand, terrible kitchen appliances (stove and dishwasher). had bad water leak from room above ours. maintance attempted to fix but failed. our suit cases and all contents there in was soaked when we woke up following morning. not a pleasant experience. Security guard check me in after hours. Did not have an ocean front room. Check in was distastful. Girl at counter was very unprofessional. She didn't even greet me. Other hotel issues were a distaction from checking me in properly. The pool wasn't clean. The outside of building at pool needs to be cleaned/painted. Outside shower broken, had to use garden hose. View appears online as ocean front, but its a view if the parking lot next door. No remote control for living area tv. No soap for bathroom, or shampoo/conditioner. I booked online for an ocean front room. I did not receive an ocean front room. At check-in I was told there were no room guarantees when booking online. The space we ended up with was considerably smaller and less desirable for the same amount as the space we had rented the previous year. We were not happy.
