Had stayed here a number of years ago and found everyone and everything great, so book with our 3 little kiddos and was even more impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness, ease of booking, service and everything. Great people, great place for an even better price than anything compriable!Will definitely stay there again thanks everyone. The lady at the desk was warm and welcoming, even tho the evening was late. She was courteous, explained where things were, about the complimentary breakfast the next morning and indicated if I need some additional time after the scheduled checkout, there would be no problem making that happen.
all reviews » The inexpensive room we had was terrific for the price of a weekend at the ocean. Closeby to crabbing and shopping, we had a queen bed, sofa and chair set, Cable, frig, microwave and breakfast . Good deal for an 'event' weekend!. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Inn had everything we needed and the Continental breakfast was perfect with a wide choice of breads/pastries. The Inn is close to the fields of tulips/daffodils. I Easy and fast check in; very friendly staff(Leeza); packed me my breakfast as I had to leave before breafast; allowed me to check out bit late too. M v happy.I was here for a golf tourney. Clean. Staff very friendly and helpful with directions to local attractions/ restaurants. Room was clean and tidy, everything worked; lights, ac, tv etc. Had a very restful night. The motel was very easy to locate. This is the first time I have been this far past Seattle, so I was unsure where everything was. The motel was close to everything I needed. Comfortable bed. The girl at the front desk was excellent. She found a problem with my reservation and solved it quickly at no additional expense to me. Convenient, comfortable, nice staff - no frills but that is what we wanted. We were in Mt. Good option for those looking for a respectable two star motel in Mt. Vernon. I booked a single queen, but when I got there, they didn't have any. However, they gave me a double queen for the same price, so I cannot complain. The price was right and the room was clean. The continental breakfast was reasonable. Convenience, close to restaurants. water pressure. location. The humidity....but guess that's something I'll bring up with God. The maid forgot to replenish the washcloths she took. Everything else was fine'. There was NOT a thing we disliked. Sorry but nothing to complain about; either tulip is really good or I was just lucky; plan to stay there again. Little noisy outside later at night. Maybe need double windows. Nothing!. Thin walls. Could hear the bathtub in the next room to much. Everything was great - there was nothing we didn't like. what is not to like???. There was nothing that didn't like. dated rooms and appearance. Would have liked an updated tv but the helpful staff got ours working!. No comments. Bathroom floor very cold. air conditioner bathroom lights broken and I did try the switch outside the door. The toilet ran constantly, had to close door to sleep. The hotel could benefit from a remodel. The location is right off the highway, but personally I would have preferred it be slightly further off to mitigate road noise. Needs updating - hard to find an electrical outlet in the room. Rooms need to be updated. Bathroom is very outdated however the shower was great excellent water pressure Stinky cigarette butt receptacles were outside of a lot of rooms including ours and when you opened door guess what you smelled. Yuck. Overall I would not recommend this motel to anyone. Room was damp and there was an odd smell not covered by cleaning products they used. Television was old style and very poor quality picture. If this had not been a solo trip where I was only coming to sleep after work I would have asked for a new room or checked out. I thought it wasn't maintained very well. It didn't feel clean or safe. I didn't appreciate the ratings they weren't accurate.
