The motel is located in the old town very close to the shoreline. This is the best part for beautifulviews and restaurants, walks, activities. The room is large enough to have fridge, microwave and table with two chairs. Tea, sugar coffee, glasses were provided. The room was clean. This is one of the cheapest motels you cna book through tools like booking. Wifi is included, connection was not very fast but it worked.
all reviews » I loved our room. The view was perfect. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave and Keith that worked the desk was fantastic. I will go back. It was also very quite. We were greeted by very friendly staff when we arrived. They were helpful and welcoming. The rooms had everything we needed for our stay, clean and stocked with basics. stayed there while driving on Hwy1. comfortable, clean and large rooms. can't complain about it. price was a little bit high but we were there at memorial day. The 4th of July, availability to walk everywhere, good food, relax, escape the Bakersfield heat, friendly people everywhere, and our housekeeper was excellent. The view from the third floor was wonderful of the rock and the ocean! The staff was friendly. The spa was nice and the sunning area above had a good view. Quiet, and right down town. Our room was recently remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Didn't try their breakfast as Kitties Kitchen was close by, yummm. The staff was great...very helpful! We loved that the hotel was about two blocks away from the Morro Bay pier and shopping stores. We had an excellent window view where you could see Morro Rock. Even though, they were in the process of changed over to central air and heater, our room was cozy and warm. The bathtub was so slippery it was scary. The next day I threw a towel on the bottom of the tub. A little outdated but clean. none. Continental Breakfast. The walls and curtains were thin. I did not like that some tree blocked the view and if trimmed would have saw a lot better. no elevator, expensive for us, but one of the best prices we could get in Morro Bay area. Old, run down, dirty. No elevator. We didn't like that hotel room phones were not working. We informed the hotel attendant about the problem and he stated that the phones for the hotel rooms were not working. So if there was an emergency, we would have to scream out the window or use our cell phones.Another bummer was that the tv in the hotel room wasn't getting very good reception on some of the channels.We addressed the problem to the hotel attendant, but was unable to fix the problem. Safety issues, no smoke detector, lamps need to be plugged in that required us moving the bed. Bathroom needed repairs. Room and facilities could have been cleaner. bathroom / toilet area had an unpleasant / unclean aroma. All other aspects of room were satisfactory. Kinda low end. Not dirty or anything just not real special. Room was very unattractive. They advertise fireplaces but the log is extra. Their breakfast consists of stale Danish, mini muffins, coffee & oj. The ocean view is on the 3rd floor 4 blocks from the water. Smelly room Not as clean as we would've liked. The room was very dirty. There were stains on the towels, rug was dirty and the bed has old blankets on the beds. Dark room, "Breakfast" joke, dried muffin + Dried pastry, very dated decor (looked like we'd walked into a cave with a bed in it),. It smells a bit stale/old, the room heater didn't work, no shower curtain, advertised breakfast was nonexistent. Problem with Internet . Long check in time. Slow in resolving issues. This hotel was way overpriced. The location was good, but the room was small, you can barely fit in the shower. The website and pictures were nothing like the hotel. Would never stay again, Motel 6 is just as nice. There was a poor excuse for a pool. The breakfast was a Danish and coffee, another poor excuse. The room smelled musty. The shower curtain in the bathroom had mold on the bottom. You could not use the fridge, microwave, and television at the same time because there was only two plugs for all three. I paid way too much for a motel that was worse than Motel 6. The place was run down, & unclean. There was a leak at the base of the toilet, there were crumbs in one of the beds BEFORE our party slept in it, the lampshade was torn, the furniture was dusty - it was overall unclean. Breakfast sucks!.
