This is very budget-friendly, it's ideal for a family or backpackers, not really for a romantic getaway.
It's great if you want to cook too. The suite came well equipped. There's a nice Publix just across the road. There's a liquor store that sells easy cards that you can use on the Miami-Dade county buses (Will not work on Broward buses but it will work on the Tri-rail).

The hotel is new and well conserved, the staff is really helpfull and friendly to answer questions or help you out with any request. The location is great, we were able to walk a few blocks and enjoy the bay harbour beach with towels and chair from the hotel.

I recently was stuck in Miami while traveling to Central America and
needed a room to day. I found the Crest Suites hotels. Its centrally
located near all the "expensive" hotels and near the lincoln
st mall areas. Its on a street with similar small hotels. Room was a bit
on the small side but bed was comfortable and the staff was pleasant.
There is a restaurant where breakfast is served. It was relatively
inexpensive and decent meal. Good value for the money.

My experience at Hotel Breakwater was perfect and flawless. Perfectly located on the best area of South Beach FL. Cross the road to one of the best beaches in the area. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I have not noticed anything but a smile all through my stay! In particular Mr. Curtis and the night duty gentleman from front desk. They made my stay beautiful. Thanks guys

It was a rather old-fashioned, charming hotel. Very close to the beach and boardwalk. Good value. The breakfast was basic but good. The staff was accomodating.
