* Nice view of the ocean * Quite area and suitable for families with kids who want to avoid the noise of ocean drive. * access to the beach from the lobby * If you have family and you want to avoid the bad scenes at the beach, go early in the morning (until 8 or 9 AM) or after the sunset. Clean hotel - very good housekeeping, nice room, good breakfast, a short cabdrive to Ocean Drive and a bit longer drive down town and to different shopping malls. Great service at the valet parking!.

It is an older property but well maintained. My room was large and comfortable. Restaurant has good food, good service, and is affordable. I will definitely stay here again. It is pretty close to South Beach, around 20 blocks. It is in a good neighborhood, so you can relax. Have a good pool, beach access, gym and the staff is friendly. The Hotel backs on to the Ocean, sits on the prestigious Collins Ave. The Hotel was clean and the staff were ultra friendly. Great Hotel. I like the spacious and clean rooms as well as the beach side location of the hotel. Also the food served at hotel restaurants is good. Everything was good, the room was spacious, bed comfortable, nice view to the ocean, well preserved, amicable staff, good service!. It was well located on Miami Beach. The view from the room was good. The best part was the board walk, right nest to the ocean. Communial facilities good- resturant pedestrian but fair value for money. My semi suite was well equiped and fairly luxurious. Staff was very friendly and made my stay so enjoyable! Hotel was very clean and the location was perfect!. We enjoyed the layout of the hotel. From entering the spacious but dated hotel foyer we enjoyed the way everything worked from this. The bar and breakfast area was open plan to the foyer leading from here to the rear of the hotel there is a good sized pool and bar area which in turn leads onto the beach via a security gate. Nice localization, for a reasonable price, just in front of the beach and the walking and running circuit. But quite fare (if we thinking about walking distance) of the “glamour area” of the Ocean Drive. Swimming pool area is scenic. Towels, relaxation music and hanging beach beds are good idea. Swimming pool has good illumination during the night. Very close to the beach. I liked the privacy and cleanness in the rooms. My cleaning lady did a great job. They closed the pool bar at 4:00, I thought that was quite early for a "Resort". The restroom was not working in our room for one full day and the hotel still charged me money, they were not negotiating with me , I had to come 10 floors down to the lobby to use the restroom and it caused a lot of inconvenience. The lobby was pretty. Ok location, quiet. Good breakfast. near the beach. Lots of towels. * No food/convenience stores around * Every night, you will find 3-4 flyers of restaurants menus under the room door. I tried one of them and I advise everyone not to do that. I had the worst Ceasar salad in the world that night. * Parking is $29 a night. * An adjacent hotel has i guess a night club or so and you won't be able to sleep if your room is by that side. Smal beds in a twin bedroom. letsbookhotel.com stated breakfast included. With to children, 8 and 13 years old, the breakfast was only free for kids 12 year and younger. Had to pay for our 13 year old - 15USD a day- for 3 days! Even though we registered the kids ages when we booked our stay.. The hotel claimed "we usually have that problem with letsbookhotel.com".... No refrigerator in room. No balcony to go out on, not able to open window to hear ocean sounds/waves from room. I checked in late at night and found the night clerk to be rude and surly. The fitness room is very small and not well equipped. There are no free weights. The building is kind of old, and you can notice some adaptations are not very well made. The a/c in my bedroom had a leak of water, so sometimes you get a drop in your head when walking under the a/c vent. It was supposedly beach oceanfront, but the palm trees were so big that we could see 3/4 palm trees and 1/4 beach. The parking is expensive, as almost all the hotels in Miami Beach, 29 usd+tax for valet, 25 usd self park. Room was a little pricey, and they closed the bar at 11pm. Valet parking $29 a day, and they left the vehicle unlocked!. It is far away from shopping areas and eateries. The valet parking was very slow. The room had no fridge. There were not too many restaurants or choices in the hotel to eat. There was the Paradise Cafe. I wish there were more options in the hotel. Outside the hotel, there was only one cafe. Passageway from lift to room corridor not air conditioned and frankly third class decor. Bedroom corridors paint finish is dated and does not speak even third class! Ditto room walls- all needs modernising. Lack of restuarants in the area. Not many restaurants within walking distance except for those in the local hotels which were quite pricey when travelling with a family. Nothing. A little dated but that's about it. Automatic tipping Long walk to any shopping/Eating. Food in the dining room was not a very good value. The food was adequate and overpriced. The hamburgers and chicken sandwiches however were well worth the price. air condition is too noise. the fixtures and fittings were a little tired. Lack of food options. I would like a lit bit better breakfast and fitness club. My room temperature was set on 68 but only reached 74 the entire time, which made our stay very uncomfortable. Estacionamento muito caro. At this ungodly hour I decided that to complain and have maintenance arrive at 4.00 am would disturb our situation even more than the alarm. I complained while checking out the next morning and was told that management were aware of the problem but was not offered any form of compensation which really annoyed me. I intend to formally complain on my return to the uk next week. Rooms need refurbishment! They are Ok but the location deserves better rooms. Hanging beds were removed very early in the evening when it is the best time to relax outside. Outdoor cocktail bar was closed very early. During two days of our stay we had two broken light bulbs and shower tap. Got strange sounds in the room during the night. Miami Beach ghosts?. The smell from the sidewalk coming from the other hotel next to the Holyday Inn was terrible strong. It is a swer problem. The town should take care of this in order to correct the problem. I think you should make sure to report this problem more often even if you have to report it every day in order for you to solve the problem. It is very unhealthy. You can catch tb from this smell. Breakfast Some reservation desk staff. Small room window No balcony. Eevery day we had the some breakfast - no vigitables, only fried potatos... I have payid cash, so by the earlier depacere the menager didn't want to give my money back... Sad like we should check you adress etc. Only after a loud butle I have got my money back!. Way too expensive for the standard and service of the hotel. For the money I have paid I would expect breakfast, all the services and parking to be includid in the rate. Staff Conservation. No frig, no fan in bathroom, smell, location, no jaccussi, no breakfast included, broken office center,. It's close to the beach. The rooms were awful, and outdated. It was extremely expensive which I wouldn't have minded if the staff had been nice at all. Most of them were extremely rude. Rooms were very very basic. It was too expensive for the quality of the service. The hotel is old, not renovated and dirty!!. When I arrived, even if a reservation my room was't available and then they cheat me offering a cheap room without tell me. The parking for guests were USD 29.00 per day. This hotel does not respect the reservations made at letsbookhotel.com...be careful!. No refrigerator.
