I liked everything. The location is great, just beside the beach, which is clean and sandy. The bus stop is near, so in case you want to go to the Sobe. There are some facilities like fitness and swimming pool. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was clean. They cleaned the room everyday, they even did washing up. There are a lot of cafes near the hotel, there is a big supermarket Publix, where we bought some food.
all reviews » This is very budget-friendly, it's ideal for a family or backpackers, not really for a romantic getaway. It's great if you want to cook too. The suite came well equipped. There's a nice Publix just across the road. There's a liquor store that sells easy cards that you can use on the Miami-Dade county buses (Will not work on Broward buses but it will work on the Tri-rail). It's right on the beach. We stayed in a room with kitchnet, it was very spacious, clean and confortable. Bathroom was very good, all divided. As far as location is concern if you just want to go for the beach, the location is excelent, is also located close to restaurants and a very nice supermarket where you can find all you need to make a cheapper meal. Staff was absolutely wonderful. And our room overlooked the beach ... Breath taking! Our room was a throw-back to the fifties which we loved! The weather was rainy, but we still LOVED it! I would like to especially thank Guillermo (front desk) who was terrific ... But so were the valet drivers! We will be back!. There were four of us so, I liked that it had two separate rooms with there own closets and a small kitchen which made it convenient to have breakfast in the room. the working staff was very nice and helpful. It has a gym which was great.The Locations was also great, on the beach and it offers a lot of good restaurants around the hotel and a big shopping market two blocks away. If you are traveling by car there are plenty of parking meter spots and you also have the option to use there valet. Good value for money, next to the beach, close to few budget restaurants, bakery and publix, close to the bus stop (line 120 takes you to aventura mall on north or downtown miami on south). Location is good for those who are coming to Miami for beaches and relaxation....very spacious rooms and clean environment. Staff is supportive. It's not very close to South Beach so if you don't have a car, you'll have to take the bus. If you want to go frequently to Miami beach, it's a little bit far, there is a bus passing nearby but it takes to much time to get there. Everything was amazing!. Nothing!. Valet parking staff not speaking English, but I know this is getting a common thing in Florida. I had problems to use my debit card (pre-paid currency card) in the check-in. The hotel was dated but still ok for the price I got. All the parties for spring break. no cutlery, no kitchen tools. Nada. The Hotel is old and needs an update. The elevator takes a while to move so we sometimes used the stairs. There is no restaurant or room service. The pool is small and there is no Jacuzzi. They charge you a daily resort fee. Also pay close attention to your bill when checking out we were charged for several days of valet parking we never used it. Once I brought it to their attention it was deducted off the bill at check out. Round trip to south beach with a bus takes about an hour, furniture and design are quite old, lift is extremely slow, tv is from other century, when leaving luggage after check out they charge 1$ per bag. Lift is very slow and need to be reburbished. The elavator was to slow, we had to take the stairs on nurmous occasion . An the TV's was absolutely to small. I mean seriously . They can do better than that. Kitchen foodmaking things very few. Pool towels miserables. Room was very noisy because of cooling system, and above our room someone walked like an elepfant and used restroom every half hour and always it sounded like two buckets of water came on us. decor very dated, view of a roof, unreliable wifi. The price quoted before we traveled changed when we got the final bill, more added taxes etc. We even had to pay to leave our luggage there for a couple of hours. The room is non-smoking but the smell of smoke was in the room. It seems that the previous guest smoked in the room and it was still there. It was very bad! We lived on the fourth floor and it was very noisy there because of the air conditions which are on the roof. The pool was not cleaned every day thus it was impossible to swim there some days!. Poor sevice too much money for a place that was nasty looking and small.
