I liked my room, which was a very good size and had a small balcony. As I was not well, the opening windows was perfect. This was a business trip, so I spent quite a while working in my room. The internet link was a little slow at times. Excellent location right on the beach, the views from the rooms stunning. Very friendly and helpful staff. would definitely stay again. Close to lovely beach. Bedrooms had been refurbished and foyer also. Great food at evening meal. Nice view from bedroom.

Hotel generally clean and well kept up. the location and staff were amazing. Location on the beach. Every thing was good. Staff resonsiveness. The hotel itself and the room were clean & functional. Beach was very close to walk to..."in the backyard". The staff was although at times a bit playful and rushed overall friendly. I loved the view from the 10th floor and the size of the balcony was huge... Loved it. Best value for direct ocean front room. beach..close to convention center. Ubication and the sea side. Free WiFi. Staff on check in and in restaurant were very helpful and sociable. Free upgrade to partial ocean view much appreciated. Good location. It was far too over powering, and I couldnt stay long there. Also my uk cell phone coverage was really very bad at the hotel. Carpets in bedroom corridors were old and shabby. Not clean around entrance to lifts. 6 workmen were refurbishing the other end of the dining room while we were having our evening meal!! They were banging, hammering, etc andit really spoiled the ambience.... The breakfast menu could be improved. While the food is good,the lunch and dinner menu needs to be updated. Could use a coat of paint in the pool area. No parking at the premises. Staf they ignor the guests. Availability of parking is not there. No parking even says website that There is No need to order just pay 26 dollars a day. I came to the hotel and they told me there is no parking so I had to park a 10 minute walk and get up every day at 8 in the morning to pay for parking. A few days we got towels that were old and torn around the edges and even had some stains in it. The rooms were cleaned daily but very minimal... the walls are very thin which gave us one night a lot of unpleasant noises. My heat wasn't working inside the room and when we checked in our room there was no tissue but other than that it was fine.. Parking was ridiculous in their so called parking garage....could not even maneuver the car to turn around when I couldn't find a parking spot. Had to back out. rooms very noisy...front desk very slow and not efficient. room accomodation and facilities inside. Clean could be better. Some parts of the room should be renovated (Old AC, Paintings...) Check in time is late as well: 4pm !. Beach chair price. 1st room allocated ( standard room ) was very bad. dirty and smelled of musty dampness? Parking very expensive, however check in staff did suggest cheaper alternative. Decor and general maintenance was poor and could do with up dating. Some areas were showing signs of wear and tear eg bathroom had rusty/damp areas and pool area didn't feel very clean at all. Didn't use pool because of this. Some general construction work going on next door to hotel made lots of noise and dust . The staff at the front desk were not very helpful. For the money could of stayed somewhere else, the pool is too small, and you are fixing the hotel, but that should be advised before booking because I would not have made a reservation...it was not worth the money, I had to go to another hotels pool, where I should of stayed there instead...and what is this $50.00 deposit, I paid for the room in full prior to arriving...would not stay in this hotel again even if price goes down.... Late afternoon check-in only - don't arrive early afternoon because you can't have your room.. Expensive and difficult to use car parking facility. No bar open - although advertised. Expensive and poor value breakfast. No ramp at entrance so bags to be carried up steep steps. Having user fees for everything such as phone calls out ( even local calls, really???) and beach chairs and children's toys. Check in process very time consuming Restaurant food very poor and service bad No pub facilities in the hotel or at night despite their being one which is shut down. Only pub outside whcih closes at 5Pm.Staff uninformed regarding this issue. In fact the have to recommend other hotels. The staff are terrible. Nobody helped me with my luggage when I arrived at the hotel. There is valet parking. We had to pay dearly for a parking space that far from the hotel, horrible. I paid for a room overlooking the sea. I stayed in a room on the first floor, overlooking the pool. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
