The location is perfect for West Los angeles access. Nice place to go out and walk around day or night.many shops, restaurants and gyms in area. Trendy décor and amazing and relaxing lobby. Staff friendly and valet is FAST! Wifi is free and fast , never had problems. The staff were fantastically friendly, chatty and always had a smile on their face. Nothing was too much trouble. The design of the hotel is great adn sitting by the pool was an awesome place to get some work done.

It is especially nice for the young, hip, party-going crowd. It is ideally located on Sunset Blvd, in walking distance to all the Hollywood hotspots, both famous and infamous. It is a boutique hotel with a kind of sixties/seventies mix with modern feel to it. The room and bathroom were comfortable but nothing extraordinary. The staff is friendly. It was not as noisy as other people say it is, but it could be the period we stayed. Do not expect luxury but the smart design gives you excellent value for money in a great West Hollywood location Buzzy atmosphere, engaging and pleasantly quirky design. Fun. I liked the pool & design of the hotel. The bartenders pool side were really nice, and kept up good quality service. the pool (4th july excepted). the pool servers and the room service servers were friendly and helpful. The arty ness of the hotel, hip decor and music, good staff. the location. Lobby and common areas and nice staff, nice bathroom. Im a coffee lover and no coffee pot and coffee in room was really missed. Ive stayed in many hotels and this is one perk that seems to be the norm but not here. Being completly ignored by the valets when I arrived - we were the only car in the driveway. 30 $ parking fee. After arriving from a 14hour flight from Sydney at 10.30am on a Sunday morning a staff member argued with us over our Australian credit cards to pay the balance of our stay, resulting in taking all the American cash we had exchanged before arriving in the USA. The rooms are relatively noisy, as you can hear the music from the bar - although this was fine when I put my earplugs in to go to sleep. Hallways, elevator, exterior facade, too many house keeper carts in plain view. Nothing. Rooms/hotel are a bit tired. It can get noisy too as the walls are thin between each of the rooms. There are no fitness facilities. Nothing. Nothing. Room service food was bad. It is a bit expensive, you are mostly paying for the location. The minibar is fully stocked however everything is way overpriced. Parking is by valet only, unless you choose to park on the busy Sunset blvd where you would be hardpressed to find a spot at any hour of the day. There can be a bit of traffic noise, which could be annoying to some people. However, the service is not crisp and the bathroom did not look or feel spotlessly clean, in part I suspect because the bathroom tiles absorb dirt so easily. Cool prevails over comfort. All that said, I would stay again!. The staff was 1/2 incompetent, I was expecting a bit more from them, they didn't clean my room after asking twice, then I had to turn on angry mode in order for them to take seriously. They did offer a comp on 1 night of parking, but it didn't make feel better. the total lack of transparency at booking and on arrival about the 4th july pool party that limited guests' access to the pool and facilities. appallingly handled and a deal breaker for returning to the hotel. Paper thin walls and floors. Even with earplugs in the quietest part of hotel, didn't sleep at all for the 2 nights I was there. Footsteps upstairs sounded like someone crossing an iron bridge with boots on. the cleaning. Air conditioner sucked, and rooms are a tad dated. Elevator is needs work. Maybe have desk in rooms. Room and corridor looked like a bad motel remodeling . Terrible sound proofing could every word from neighboring room and every foot step from room above. The most likely know that since they provide earplugs on night table . Music being play every day until 1am in the morning. it gets a bit boring if you are staying there for more than a couple of days.
