Metro Plaza Hotel is located in a convenient spot. Center of everywhere I wanted to go to. Prices of the hotel room was excellent and inexpensive. The process of getting our hotel room was fast, didnt need to wait for a long time. The location and the Service!! I didn't expect this hotel to be too great with this price, but this was decent, nice hotel with great staff. The hotel is in bad neighborhood but with this price and service, it is not too bad.
all reviews » I found the hotel to be quiet and peaceful and the bed very comfortable. The staff at reception were very caring as I was not feeling very well at the time. The maid threw open the drapes during the day which, during the recent heatwave, made the room unbearably hot upon my return. Why she didn't leave them closed escapes me totally! Looking a little tired and dowdy - needs some renovation - an internal paint job would be a great start with colourful window and room furnishings. Breakfast very basic. The air was a bit stuffy/smoky in spite of it being a non-smoking room.They really need some new carpets - dirty carpets in elevator lobbies onguest floors. Room isn't clean enough.breakfast. It was old and run down. Rooms were very sparsely furnished and appointed. But it was OK for the money. It was also very noisy with horrendous all night traffic noise.
