The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. An onsite coin-op laundry was fabulous. The hotel has a great location with public transport easily accessible.

The included breakfast coupons for included breakfast ($20pp) are not worth it because it limits what you can choose for breakfast.

Proximity to every thing - shops - beach. Arrived from early flight and room availability expedited.

Lifts .. very slow. Laundry facilities require upgrade. Building renovations a inconvenience with no compensation.

This hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip. It was close to everything; shopping, Santa Monica Pier, great restaurants and bars; couldn't have asked for a better location. The staff were fantastic, they gave us great advice and organised our transport back to the airport which saved us time and money. For the prime location, comfortable room and fantastic staff it was great value for money and I would definitely stay here when back in LA and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Santa Monica.

The hotel is near the Beach and the pier. Really close to the 3rd promenade street and the ocean.the Room is clean even if it doesn't worth the price we payed.

We payed an extra for the breakfast but instead of having a free buffet we just had a coupon of 20 dollari per person and the menù in the hotel was very expensive. It's impossibile to park inside the hotel because it's unbelievely expensive(31$).

The location was fabulous. Close to beach, pier, downtown, restaurants.

Couldn't park our truck in garage with bikes on top - to low of a garage entrance/ceiling. It was a hard entrance to the hotel, bad traffic.

Rooms need updating. Very close to freeway so traffic noise early morning and late afternoon/evening. Poor wifi. Some improvements taking place during our visit which we were not informed of when booking nor upon arrival.

That is was right next to a noisy freeway. did not even want to sit by pool. did not seem inviting with freeway there.

Very expensive, I paid the same for a 5* in West Hollywood and it was a lot more modern with more facilities but the location of this hotel made my stay worth it. I didn't like the pool and the traffic noise either.

We arrived very early in the morning and the staff made every effort to get our room ready as quickly as possible which was really appreciated after a long flight from Australia. The room was really spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The facilities and location was excellent.

The location is perfect, few minutes from the beach and from 3rd street promenade, very central!

Location was great. Beautiful view though right next to the freeway.

Staff did not deliver breakfast on time. When asked them what happens they seemed to have an attitude though it was their fault. Windows didn't open and air conditioner was a bit clunky. Elevator was iffy. It would come sometimes if the button worked. Then in the elevator you could spend up to 10 minutes with everyone in it trying to see whose card would read properly.

Location. View and nice size room.

Much too expensive for what it is. Hallways not vacuumed, no refigerator in room nor offered when we asked for ice, even though they have them available, the floor in our room was not clean. Outside sidewalk should be power washed to clean urine smell. The bicycles are dangerous and should be replaced. A tray full of food was left out in the hallway all day and we had to tell the front desk about it.
