Very friendly staff, great location near airport and really cool/modern decor!
Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and had an excellent view. Slightly trendy, fun, and quirky. Close to Venice Beach, Santa Monica, and LAX.
The $20 mandatory valet fee. It would have been nice to know up front or have it incorporated into the price.
Enjoyed the clean sleek, modern, minimalist look and espresso machine @ registration!!!!
Very funky fit out, very comfortable bed and room.
It was nicely done.
Interesting and funky place, very friendly staff; the best bed I've everslept in, and oh, those groovy talking lifts !! Gym was excellent.Location great for getting to/from lax.
Rooms lacked storage space for clothing (no wardrobe) but not a majorissue. Could do with a better concierge desk with details on localattractions, transport, restaurants, etc.
the design and the atmosphere
This is a funky, trendy refurbed hotel overlooking the runway at LAX. Ideal for an overnight after a long flight, but wouldn't recommend staying any longer as not much else in the local. If the hotel was more central then I fully recommend this as a great hotel. Everything was clean and the staff were very helpful.
Location not great for any longer than 1 night stay, but great for LAX.
The atmosphere and close proximity to the airport and beach
My smoke detector went off in the middle of my shower, a little inconvient. Staff did a good job of taking care of the issue.
Proximity to LA Airport
Internet Charges
The pool and bar area. Decent restaurant too.
Valet parking.
beds and sheets were great
Maybe the hotel is too modern and the enviroment is quite cold, dosent feel comfortable to stay in if you are not fashion enough.
stop over visit in transit at airport
Staff was a bit unorganized. On departure was charged $20.00 used for parking and was not told prior that there was a charge for parking,It would of been professional to state charge at time of check-in. Location was far from airport. Not convienient. Halls were very dark. On the bright side nice room, newly decorated.
April was very nice and helpful. There was another gentleman who was rudeat an given opportunity The pool was great and the hotel bar was funeven though it closed very early
Our reservations from booking.com never made it to the hotel and so itwas mess. They did not have the room available we paid for. They didtheir best to accomodate us once pressure was put on them, however, there was another couple who also used booking.com whose reservationsalso did not seem to make it to the hotel. Not the hotelsfault...however, they could have dealt with the situation better
constant noise from elevators all night, a loud bing noise when doors opened or closed.I felt as tho i was sleeping next to a supermarket checkout. Also smell of sewage from time to time(maybe due to nearby building work) and an extortionate price for the use of hotels computers,it would be cheaper to phone people.
I pretty much liked the atmosphere and the close location of the hotel to the city center.
The rooms were a tad bit too small.
The atmosphere - the decoration - the bed
The service at the restorant - the valet parking (very expensive)
Wireless service and location.
Lack of storage room, hot water was rusty, very noisy and the computer room was too dark. The pool parties went on too long.
It was clean with new fittings
Lots! The lack of tea and coffee making facilities; no tourist information; staff giving very poor advice and info for visitors; location was awful. limited no
Two people were great: one at front desk the morning of my departure;the other at the restaurant when I needed a coffee to go. The lady atreception the night of my arrival was unpleasant, brief and spoke to mein a condescending manner. She also said the restaurant was closed at 10pm. (My arrival was before midnight) and that for a bottle of water Ineeded to walk to supermarket (5 min) to get
The walls of corridors are painted black what a horrible colorespecially at night. The doors grey!! PLease realize we walk inexhausted and don't need gloom!
