The room was clean quiet and comfortable! The bed and pillows were awesome!!! Hotel tower was soooo quiet.... Hard to believe there was anyone else there! Location was perfect to walk to either end of the Riverwalk! Got our $5 for signing up... Gambled a bit won some, lost some.... Enjoyed the Breakfast Buffet at the Captains Buffet! Had a great time! Will be back!. I wanted to stay in one place and not run all over town the casino had a great country band in the lounge that we danced to each night and I had a execllent Dealer named Jim that had a great personality that made it fun to play at his tables I followed him fro m table to table the nights he was dealing.
all reviews » I liked the way the hotel worked to make it easy to get around the hotel even with the construction going on. The signage made it very clear how to maneuver around the construction site so you could get from the hotel to the casino area. the staff very friendly & helpful considering the hotel construction - wish we could have made more more money!!!! We had very quiet room which we enjoyed - we have stayed b/f & would stay again. Comfortable rooms, great buffet breakfast, need to know more about all your restaurants when checking in, went next door and it was so so food! Low priced but very nice and clean rooms for the money Brewery restaurant food was OUTSTANDING, particularly the pastrami sandwich and the burger!. For the most part, the hotel was okay. Our room was ready when we arrived and the staff accommodated us early check-in and late check out. 'One notch above all the rest on the river front. Well maintained. Like old times.' Comp for second day freebee, come next october. Our stay was very pleasant. We had an awesome room which was very clean! The staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay again!. The Bed and Pillows were AMAZING. After driving for 6 hours, it was perfect!. everything went well and we had a great time. we will deffently stay again. Nice rooms at a great price and great location. Check in lady was great!. It is in the center of the hotels with easy access to the other casinos. The lady drawing me a map to my room and being so nice and friendly. At check in my prepayed reservation was for the Colorado Bell but I was booked at the Edge water and we where with a gruop of people and thats why I booked the Clorado Bell so the check in clark corrected the booking and set us up in a boat room facing the River that was a job will done outside of the incorect booking. I did not like having to go to the Edge water for more food choices. The construction. Construction but know it will get better for a first timer. Poker room not very attractive (game option-wise). Need to attract more than local 2-4 players. How about some no-limit? Your lunch buffet was VERY disappointing, even though breakfast was fair to good. You really need to try to get away from that high school cafeteria style food. The bathroom sink was clogged as well as the shower. The room was more motel style rather than hotel style. xxxxxxx. Nothing. Reservations center not 24 hours, messed up reservation and would not honor Easy 1 rate even though in the email portion of reservation. No free wifi. Hotel room did not have enough outlets for the hotel lights and then room extremely dark. It would be helpful if they had transportation and room deals. I hate having to take the car out when I want to go to a movie. The large cup of coffee each morning for $3.75 that was equivalent to water where the Krispy Crème donuts are sold. No in room coffee, and the coffee counter at the bottom of the elevator closed at 11:00 am. Waited for a bellman for 40 minutes and none ever came to help me when I was leaving. Pints, the only restaurant open 24 hours, was located at the extreme opposite from the hotel rooms. Too far to go for a cup of coffee. No coffee pot in room. There are no food choices what happened to all the little food vendors upstairs . Housekeeping bangs on the doors at 8 and you can hear all rooms around yours so even though you have a do not disturb sign, you hear them bang on a door, vacuum, bands on another vacuum, for at least three rooms. The check in experience was terrible. Not being able to stay longer. Nothing. no coffee pots or microwave long way to walk to casino. I don't like the layout of the hotel. You have to wind down and around hallways...sometimes getting lost. Room was a ways into the hotel.But maybe that is why is was nice an quiet. We would stay there again. Food at buffet cold not too tasty. Sorry. The attitud of tammy si seems to be inbad mood the wake up at 6:30 by the hoysekepper it was to early. hotel food bad pizza. No dislikes. No hair dryer in room Flat screen too small for the room, should have been at least 40'. The wet rug in the room. Waiting to check out seemed like a long time in line. Bartender did not know how to make a proper Cosmopolitan and didn't serve it in a martini glass. It was all around good. Mark Twains, Stair Well Access, Ice Maker by room not working...
