I've stayed at Vdara before and I really enjoyed this trip too. First off, we checked in earlier than normal check-in and we got upgraded to a Corner King Suite which was huge, spacious! There was a full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, separate bathroom, washer and dryer facilities and a large master bathroom. The views were incredible. all reviews » The hotel had beautiful design both inside and out. The rooms were finished to a high standard. The hotel is ideally located for exploring rest of the strip but a haven for escaping the noise also. The staff were helpful and we were upgraded on our second night to a executive room as we were on our honeymoon. We were also given champagne and strawberries upon returning from our trip to the grand canyon booked through the hotel. The upgrade was to a corner room so we had 270 degree views over th. Vdara doesn't have a cassino attached that makes the hotel less busy than other Vegas' hotels. It's close to high-end hotels such as Aria and Cosmopolitan, so you are close to good restaurants, bars and good casinos. The rooms are just awesome. There's a little living room and detached kitchen. You can bring your own stuff and use an empty fridge. Even though they have a full minibar available. Specially when you go for business this hotel gives you the possibility to cook your own breakfast o. EVERYTHING! Spacious suit, tastefully designed and decorated. We stayed on the 53rd floor, in the suit facing the north (all even-numbered rooms are facing the fountains of Bellagio) and had the most spectacular view of the city, the fountains, and the Eiffel Tower. Though not right on the main drag (what a huge plus!!!!), the hotel is centrally located with an easy access to either side of the Strip. As non-smokers, we thoroughly enjoyed fume-free air of the place. The room was really nice. More spacious than I needed with a kitchenette. Cool bathtub and shower. Real nice bathroom and bed. I liked the black out blinds that you press a button and it gets dark in the room. The view from the 38th floor overlooking the Bellagio was real nice. I think higher the view would have been even nicer! I did not mind the Valet only option. They were pretty fast getting my car to me like 5 minutes each time of a wait. What an amazing hotel! Wanted to stay somewhere away from the crowds and smoke but still wanted to be within walk to the strip, and Vdara ticked all the boxes! 2 min walk to the bellagio. 30 secs walk to aria! Hotel was very clean, staff so friendly and helpful! The rooms were just pure luxury! Stayed in a Vdara suite, wow... Pure style! Thank you for the best stay I've had in Vegas!. Super amazing bedroom! One of the best bed we've ever slept!!! A side of the room is total of glass, with the view in part of the Bellagio and Caesar's: by night it's terrific! Stayed in a Vdra suite and it was a very nice size with two large rooms it was perfect as we stayed as a group of friends so someone slept very comfortably in the bedroom and another had their own space (and toilet) in the living room. Location is also awesome. Right in the middle of the strip you're a short walk to most of the other major hotels. Our rooms were ready even though we were checking in early. Rooms are really large and very nicely equipped with a kitchenette and freestanding bath. Complimentary wi-fi was included. Well equipped gym and really nice pool area with sun deck. We didn't try the spa but it looked amazing. Great security at the hotel and no outside noise. My four day stay at the Vdara was amazing! I was impressed the moment I walked in the doors and the scent in the air was heavenly. The staff was courteous, security made me feel very safe my entire stay. The food in the marketplace was fresh and delicious. My suite had an amazing view, the pillows on the bed were perfection.. Fantastic hotel, location was perfect. Non-smoking hotel makes the hotel all the better especially where there is so many smoke filled rooms in Vegas. Only 5 minute walk to the Bellagio Casino so wouldnt be concerned that there is no casino in the hotel. Highly recommend Vdara. The room was excellent and could have passed as a one bed flat in the uk. We went into many of the other hotels and the Vdara compared well being both modern and clean, the larger themed casio/hotels have a fake grandure which in some cases are getting tired tacky and dated. The Vdara is like an oasis of calm among the non stop craziness of Vegas. As a non smoking, no casino hotel, it is extremely peaceful.The rooms are all quiet and the beds extremely comfortable after a day of walking the strip. Excellent concierge. We booked V'dara suite and there was ample room for 3 of us to share. We were charged $ 156 for no show as we arrived a day late but once we mentioned this on our check out the charge was taken off. We all really liked the hotel and the stay. Nice Hotel in the Strip. Not very expensive in comparison to the other strip hotels but you should count about 20% more to the price that you book bcs of the additional fees( resort fee etc...). Just the position: directly connected with the Bellagio (3 minutes from lobby-to-lobby) but if you want to access from the Strip you need 10-20 minutes, and eventually take the monorail bellagio-aria. There is no handy restaurant on site for a good meal. You need to leave the premises. The pool was great, but it would be better if there was bar/food service. It's a bit of a walk to get onto the strip from the hotel as you have to walk through either the Bellagio or the Aria. No casino in the hotel - we weren't bothered by this though. Food and drink pretty expensive. Pricing for small food items downstairs in the marketplace were high, $18 for a salad $16 for a grilled cheese.. Will probably eat elsewhere next time. All was great. Could have had more dining facilities and the 15 minute walk to the strip through either the Aria or the Bellagio became tedious after the first couple of days. (This does mean that the Vdara has very little noise and feels like a hotel not a room over a casino, which is very much a good thing). Tea and coffee facilities would be good especially having paid a $25 day resort fee. I think it a little away from the strip and its behind Aria . But Still very close to the strip. Lack of restaurant to have breakfast (the bar is small and overcrowded), lack of crockery and cutlery in the kitchenette (one has to order them separately). I was expecting the towels to be softer, and although the kitchen has a microwave and a cooktop, there are no appliances such as pans, dishes or cutlery. had to ask for cups to be returned every day after using them.No jug to heat water for a cuppa and no coffee plunger available at all.If it has a kitchen it should have all utensils to go with it.plus tea towels as the house cleaning staff a bit on the slack side. The price that I reserved our stay from letsbookhotel.com on line was different from the one the reception wanted to bill us. We had to ask for a manager, show the reservation (paper print) and the price, and then the manager adjust upon our reservation. Be aware. None. Nothing!. My only complaint was that the pool closed at 5pm at this time of year and the pool bar was not yet opened. No things I did't like. The hotel has a spa but you have to pay USD26 for a day pass in order to use it even if you just want to use the steam room or jacuzzi. Never had that before. You could always use those for free in other htoels we stayed at as long as you were a guest. The valet parking guy was absolutely unpolite, posh and was almost extorting the tips. He absolutely ruined the first inception of the hotel. Even when other staff was absolutely ok. No restaurants - you still need to go to Aria to some good restaurants. Kitchenette with NO ware whatsoever ( you needed to ask for EVERY day) Complicated connections with the Strip. If you book a 4 person room, 2 people will have to sleep on a sofa which will be made into a bed. for some reason our room smelt a bit like poo.thats it. Everything was great. Walking to the strip was a little bit difficult. Only via Bellagio. pool not in best location ,it could of been designed better.. Ummm, no gambling I suppose. Or maybe that's a good thing. high price on the weekend :-). Nothing - it was all good. the pool area is a little cramped. the sunbeds are too close too each other. The telephone wasn't working in my room, and we need to give a call to get our bags. It's was annoying since I have to go back to the lobby to ask them to call for me...
